Hi can you let me know the MF and residual for a 2017 Accord Sport Special Edition 36/10K in New York? Is the$1000 dealer cash and $1000 bonus lease cash valid in NY?
NJ dealer offered me 249 lease payment with only 249 1st payment down at inception (may also have to al pay 595 bank fee depending on current lease as well as dmv fees) on this car for a 36/10k lease and will do concierge delivery. If interested in specifics, (moderators?) let me know if I can post here or if we need to talk off forum.

Forgive the typos in my previous post. Forgot to mention that the 249 quote included sales tax in a state that taxes the entire agreed upon sale price. With NY tax, that quote, even with DMV & bank fees, is more like $232!

NJ and NY tax the sum of the payments, not the entire selling price.

Employing some educated guesswork to reverse engineer your lease, I think there might be room to negotiate another $2000 or more off the sale price, which would yield a savings of roughly $56 per month on your monthly payment. If you would care to share more info about your sale price and cap cost reduction, I might be able to nail it down a bit better. Depending on what part of the country you're located in, I may be able to help with your lease negotiation or recommend a leasing company that could offer a better deal.

If you going to put money down on a lease, it would be to pay taxes only and first payment only IMO. $3500 off MSRP is normal, but so is $4000, but it looks like a great deal. I am going to use your deal as a basis as I continue to look.

That is a great deal jamr1982 - if you got $5800 off msrp, that's more than 20% discount - that's fantastic. You did very well!

Congrats on the new Accord - enjoy!

Honda of Ft.Worth is offering Accord LX 0 down at signing and TTL included for a 12K lease, three years for $219.00 Sport for $245.00. Again ,nothing out of pocket. Is this a good deal? I am thinking they are taking $4K off the MSRP to get these numbers.

The deal is on their homepage.

If that is truly nothing out of pocket at signing, it's a great deal. My Sport CVT is 225 incl 7.75% sales tax for 36/15, $1k at signing (CA). It took about 5500 off msrp to get to that payment. Hopefully they are including destination charge and acquisition fee in their advertised deal.

Took a quick look at their site - no mention of any additional fees so looks like legit great deals on those models - not available to non TX residents so probably some tax subsidy being used to help the payment.

I have sent an email asking that, but I do not think I will get an answer. Accords can be had for $4K-$5K off, and I guess that's what they are doing.

Attn Moderator. I keep getting different numbers when using different lease calculators (such as those found on dealer sites). What would the lease be on an Accord Sport and EX , 15K miles, three year lease with $4500 off MSRP? I am in Texas and we pay sales tax over the entire cost of vehicle. Thanks, suppose to go the dealer tonight.

.00083 MF and 54% residual for 36/15, for either trim.
We'll add $595 for acquisition fee and 6.25% tax on the CAP cost.
That leaves just first payment and DMV/dealer fees at lease signing.

    EX
    $27365
$24,926 adjusted CAP (with acq.fee and tax)
    $314.87/mo.

There is only one way to calculate a lease payment. That being said, if the figures you are using are different than the figures someone else is using, the calculated lease payment will not agree (if the correct lease payment formula is being used to begin with).

Best approach folks can use if they are interested in leasing a vehicle is to educate themselves on how a lease payment is structured and become at least as knowledgeable as dealer personnel on how a lease is calculated. Then all that is left to do is lease a vehicle with good resale value (residual), negotiate lowest possible price (agreed upon value), keep fees to a minimum, and have decent enough credit to qualify for the best money factor (interest rate).

i live in OH and concur that almost ALL OH dealers will say that the doc fee of 250 is mandatory BUT it is actually a cap and the minimum doc fee is zero. All their dealer computer programs have the 250 hard-loaded so you have to get them to lower the sell price to compensate (if they are willing). The Wyler franchise has more than one honda dealerships in the Cinti area; beware slimy tactics though. If leasing, know your numbers and be willing to walk if they won't play nice. Lots of competition especially for the V-6 model. IMO, $340 + tax is a reasonable amount excl. doc and dmv fees
I sent several dealerships in Cincinnati messages about leasing an Accord. Let's see what shakes out. Delearships in the Louisville area are WAY too high. If I could get anywhere near that 340+tax id sign today.

Hello, apparently they just added additional incentives to the Acura TLX lease deals for April, can anyone confirm if they've done the same with the Accord? I am literally about out to head into a Honda dealer on Monday so I'm hoping so! Or maybe I should go to an Acura dealer instead? Thanks in advance!

We have no confirmed information on the Acura incentive bump.

And, no information at all on the Accord. The current programs are set to expire in May.

Thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum - it was helpful in my research. Just leased a 2017 Accord Sport SE in central Virginia. MSRP $27050, agreed upon value of $21200, and adjusted cap cost of $22110. I paid tax, title/license fees, and first payment upfront. Monthly lease $217/month. Thanks to this forum, I held firm to a $21000-21500 agreed upon price. I am hoping I did alright, considering there are limited Honda dealers competing in my area.

In which day of the month are MF and residual values updated for Honda in California? For example does this update always happen on the 1st of the month?

Also, when do the moderators in this forum receive these updated values?

Lastly, what is the current MF and residual for a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L 4 cylinder with Honda Sensing & Navigation for 36 months/15k miles per year in California? How about the V6 EX-L again with Honda Sensing & Navigation?

    Thanks in advance

Where at in Ohio? If in the Columbus area I always recommend Roush Honda in Westerville. What does the sale price of the vehicle come down to? I've known good numbers on an LX to only come down to around 200-220 I want to make sure there aren't any loop holes in that deal for you.

I have never leased before but am currently considering leasing a 2017 Accord Sport. I am in Ohio (Cincinnati area) and haven't had the best experience with salesman at various dealerships yet. I do have a friend that has been trying to help out and was able to get a quote of: $0 money due at signing - $300 a month for 36 months, dealership will pay the first payment so I'll technically only be paying 35 months (includes tax, tag, title, fees, 12k miles a year).

I don't have the specific numbers right now that members are talking about - MF, residual, etc. Would you be able to tell me if that quote is a good deal or if I should continue to shop around?

I had one salesman tell me that the MSRP (26,190) on a 2017 sport can be dropped about $4k-$5k right now because the 2018 model will be a new design - would that be taken into account the same if I plan on leasing that car rather than buy?

Any help would be so appreciated! Thank you :)

Would you be willing to come to the Columbus area?
