I confirm the .00106 MF and 54% residual.

How does the $5000 break down? In Texas, taxes are due against the entire selling price.

My guess is that part of that money is used as a down payment - we do not recommend that, as the money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

They did not provide any breakdown for $5000. They said - they have tax rebates and I only need to pay 1.4% tax instead of 6.25%. Can you please let me know the monthly payment for the above amounts with zero down payment. Thank you much.

Using your prices, I get $371/mo plus tax.

Would need to know the adjusted cap cost to get a better sense of what the payment should be.

What is the adjusted cap cost? This is the selling price plus any taxes and fees you are not paying up front.

It's a factory to dealer incentive. Use that knowledge to negotiate a lower sale price.

I'm trying to wrap up a deal. Maybe it's semantics, but one dealer is saying the $1000 is "dealer cash" and not $1000 lease cash. Then you add the $1500 bonus lease cash. Every time I ask for the best prices I keep getting this "dealer cash" included, even though I'm asking for an all cash offer. So my numbers never work out to what they are offering. Just want to make sure I'm not leaving any money on the table.

The $1000 is noted as "dealer / lease / finance" cash. So, you're both correct.

My guess is that the dealer offer already includes the $1000. But, check with other dealers to see if you can get a better price.

The $1000 is factory-to-dealer cash, and that isn't your rebate, though you should certainly take it into account when negotiating the price.

The $1500 is "Bonus Lease Cash", and that goes to the customer (in the form of a CAP cost reduction). However, they may incorporate that into their sale price, as well. You just have to ask them.

Money factor and residual are correct.
Looks like the selling price is not the adjusted CAP cost, as the resulting payment is $283/mo,+tax with that number.

Adding in the acquisition fee and first payment would probably make up the difference.

Discount is about $3700, but there is $3250 in incentives on this model. You might be able to do a little better on the sale price.

Yeah.. the only way they could do $250/mo. is with the $2668 collected upfront. (I get $243/mo)
With the $2668 rolled in, I get $313/mo.

Our documents show $2000 + $750 on all trims.

I know you don't normally recommend putting money down but should i pay the taxes n fees upfront or try to roll that in the payment?

It's your choice but we recommend you roll them into the payment. If the car is stolen or totaled, you think Maryland will refund you the unused sales tax had you paid them up front?

That makes sense. I guess GAP insurance would only cover there difference from what the car is worth to the insurance company and what would I still owed.

I'm still trying to decide if I can leverage this $750 Bonus. Any thoughts?

GAP will cover the obligations, so there is no money out of pocket from you.

My guess is the $750 is already in the price quoted by the dealership, but it can't hurt to ask.

We have ads in the local paper.. $199/mo, but $2999 due at signing.
That doesn't include tax or dealer fees. With just first payment due at signing, you can expect to be close to $300/mo.

Considering the high sales tax in Maryland, that may not be a bad deal. Any idea of the sale price or adjusted CAP cost?
