Could be but IIRC they were sold as Plymouth Barracudas, not Valiants.

I am fairly certain the car in the pic is badged "200 DIESEL". By the sidemakers, it would be a final run fintail, a short run of late cars were sold as 1968 models, and had the US spec markers along with some interior trim differences from prior models.

1st gen Civic CVCC. Have not seen one in ages, other than for a bit the Honda dealer had one in the showroom.

What's the aqua job on the opposite side of the '55 Chevy from the fintail? It has a '55 or '56 Mercury vibe to me, but I can't tell.

To review:

1957 Plymouth, 1956 Chevy, 1957 MB, 1955 Chevy, 1955 Chevy, 1949 Chevy, 1958 Chevy.

Likely the one adjacent to the MB is a Two-Ten, and the one to the right of it is a BelAir
with chrome along the roof and on the front quarter side.

I'll go with the oldest Chevy as being a 1950 because of the lack of verticals in the grille which the 1949 had.

Because of the slight "overhang" over the windshield and the shape of the grille's holes, I'll go with a 1959 Plymouth.

Nope, it's the little brother of the Aprilia, a 1948 Lancia Ardea. The smaller Ardea was, a prewar design that was produced until the mid-50s. The V4 powered Ardea was the first production car to feature a 5-speed transmission. Lancias of the period were right-hand drive even for the domestic market apparently because there was an advantage in being able to follow the edge of the road on narrow Italian back roads.

I enjoyed using the foliage growing out of the roadside walls in Italy as 'curb feelers' - I had to brush them or get hit by the tour busses.

On the coast in Liguria near San Remo we were in a hire car following two Piaggio Ape three wheel vans and on a long winding hill one of them pulled out and passed the other but ran out of steam so they were alongside for ages.
The following traffic behind them took a number of outrageous attempts to pass anyway, and when they did get to the straight again the one who had finally passed the other pulled in at a cafe about 100 metres later..

In towns its the scooters which are the worst though - road, sidewalk, verge, left or right - anywhere...

Yeah, that shape and high grille was produced with some modification until roughly 1965, the downsized T1 that replaced it didn't have the same presence.
