A good friend, the one who recently purchased a Tesla Y, has a C-Max for several years now. He bought it new and had it shipped up from the Seattle area, if I recall correctly.

I'm no expert on that stuff; a hybrid is a hybrid is a hybrid in my eyes. His does have a big battery pack (much of the cargo space of the car is occupied by it) and a large plug orifice on the outside of the car.

PHEV, then.

True hybrid (like a Prius) doesn't allow for external charging.

None of the three versions of the Lotus Elan M100 were successful commercially .There's something about the feel of a rwd roadster that we prefer.probably because sports car guys prefer RWD dynamics. It's no that FWD or AWD cars can't handle well, several do but we sports car guys usually prefer the feel of a short wheelbase rwd car.

Big Ford next to the Scout is a '67. An oddball w the extra cost hardtop but blackwalls and dog dish hubcaps. Ahead of it a nice ca.'68 Caddy Eldorado.

The closely body mounted rear bumper indicates the Pinto being a 71/72.

Actually it's a '66, my favorite year for the fullsize Ford 2-dr hardtop. This one is in my favorite color for Fords of that era, Arcadian Blue. Being 10 years old at the time of the photo, those are likely replacement tires.

Those basic wheelcovers on the Galaxie are pretty uncommon I think, especially as that one has a V8 engine size badge. Small white car at left is an early 70s Corolla,

I would have expected white wall tires and full wheel covers on the 66 Galaxie 2dr hardtop. Dad’s 66 Galaxie 4dr sedan company car had those basic wheel covers and black wall tires, 289 V8. It looked like a company car.

Oldest car is the MoPar wagon '(49-52), probably a Plymouth Suburban, Newest is also a Mopar, can you see it?

Note the white walls on the Sports Car, they really did come that way (my '66 TR-4A did.).

The Valiant is a 1960 model, I believe, and the Chevrolets in front of and behind the Valiant are 1960 models.

That's correct, alas there are no 1960 Fords visible, nor Fords of any year. The Cadillac on the left is a 1958
possibly an Eldo.

I was not aware of this car before I stumbled on it today. It was the last gasp of one of the most famous pre WWII carmakers. Only a handful were ever made and none were ever sold to the public.

Acouple of hints: the country of origin was one of the losers of the war. One of their pre war cars was featured in the classic film Sunset Boulevard
