    In the Omaha picture, the white Firebird is a 68 and it looks like a 56 or 66 Corvette rear quarter panel behind the VW Bug.

    The green Firebird is a convertible. It was done by, I believe ASC, but were sold through Pontiac dealers. Had a shot at a 91 red one many years ago, but was a bit short on funds at the time. Saw a green one for sale recently. Sharp looking cars, and pretty rare.

    Hopefully they start it up. The one that drove by me while I was out for a walk in Chicago didn't sound good. Maybe it had a modified exhaust.

    That was the color combo of our 60. Pic must be around 1968 from what I can tell, that car might not have had much time left unless someone worked to keep it around.

    Strong absence of foreign material, which was probably normal away from the coasts.
