My parents had a '67 Squareback - black CA plates "VVG 784" (why I remember those plates specifically, and not others, I have no explanation). Drove that car from CA to NY and back in the summer of 1971.

Am I missing the 60 Ford? I do see the fender of a "cigar" Bird, which has a similar shape.

my first guess was Corona but the front end looked a little too big and vertical, and I thought this was about a lot earlier. Fin said 1972, but the rest of the cars are nearly a decade before that or more

It could be a '64 Corona, but I agree, the front looks too vertical, and the bumper is different than the pics I can find for the Corona. Sure are a lot of old cars for a '72 pic, like you said.

Rust works slow in western WA, and I think the import is indeed a Corona.

They came from the factory that way. The '64 Chevy was a very unhappy front end design. Imagine being the person who bought one in August of '64 on a clearance deal and then a month later seeing the beautiful '65 Chevy arrive at the same dealer.

I always liked the side detailing of 64 Impalas, especially an SS. The 64 to 65 change for many domestics was like 54 to 55, made the car look several years old overnight.
