Looks a little like an Interceptor but that's not even close. This baffling mystery car was the 1966-67 OSI 20M TS. OSI=Officina Stampaggio Industriale SpA was a small firm which made cars and tools for the then growing Carrozzeria industry of Northern Italy.
You'd never know from it's sleek looks but the OSI 20M was powered by a small German Ford Taunus motor and wasn't close to the sleek Monteverdis and Jensens it resembled in performance or prestige. About 2000 were made.
Sorry - I've been away from this page for a few days, due to a few problems, and as a result didn't post the answer to the grey coupe from the Frankfurt Motor Show. It is an Artega GT - it's going into production, - they had 2 on the stand and have certainly made a few more already as their brochure showed a couple more - it has a VW 3.5 litre V6, carbon fibre body, weighs about 2400 lbs and allegedly attains 168mph. Nice car...
Votes are leaning towards the Genesis being a MB "copy"
Actually it's a copy of a copy of a Mercedes S-Class. What goes around comes around. In 1990 Lexus set the car world on it's ear by making a credible copy of an S-Class for a fraction of the cost--Mercedes is still recovering. Now along comes Hyundai with a credible(?) copy of the LS for a fraction of the cost.....
Y'all have failed to identify the Mystery Motor or any of the three Saabs that utilized it. the motor (as Kfdyx said) is a V4 sourced from Ford-Werke AG that was designed for Ford's first FWD car, the Cologne- built Taunus 12M.
The 1498cc 4-banger was used by Saab beginning in 1963 when it replaced the DKW-based two-stroke in the Saab 96 , it's wagon derivative the Saab 95 and eventually starting in 1968, the Saab Sonnet II/Sonnet V4.
This looks like a South American Ford - possibly Argentinian ? The name Corcel springs to mind, but I don't really know. I would imagine this is mid sixties...

It is indeed a Ford Corcel but it's not from The Argentine, it's from Ford do Brasil and is actually a derivative of the Renault 12, which was supposed to replace the Dauphine when Ford acquired Willys-Overland in 1968 (apparently they had a deal with Renault). The pictured car is a 1976 model.
Nice photo, that's a Turner Sports ca. early 60s wearing aftermarket Minilite style wheels and American racing colors (notwithstanding the UK plate). These were seldom seen on American steets but more often seen in Production Sports racing.
The tonneau cover and lack of roll bar suggests this car was not a racer. :shades:
Yes, andy, it is indeed a Turner - this one is a Mark III, one of the last, from 1965. This model used a veritable parts-bin of contemporary British cars, with Ford engine (this one was a 1498cc version as in the Mk1 Cortina GT) and it had Triumph Herald steering and front suspension...A nice little roadster...
It's a Nash, but I would say 1948, as it has the short chrome moulding on the side of the bonnet, instead of the through chrome strip down the side as in 46/7. I think it's an Ambassador...
Can't name the red hatch (although it bears a resemblance to a Vauxhall Corsa with a Rover badge), but I'd say the silver hatch across the street is a Renault Clio (before Renault got all "Avantime" in their designs).
The SUV behind the MGF is, perhaps, a Ford Maverick,
... and behind the SUV is a silver mid-90's Ford Escort 5dr.
Yes - this is a Rover Cityrover, late 2003 - a re-badged Tata Indicar, which was a not particularly successful last-ditch attempt by the failing Rover group to get some sales. They must have sold a couple of thousand of these but you don't actually see many, and the average age of the drivers seems to be about 75... Ironically, the Tata group are expected to be the 'preferred bidder' for the Land-Rover/Jaguar sell-off by Ford in the next few weeks.
I've just got a lot of books - and since posting that I've actually found the same shot - including the background, same lady behind the bonnet, everything, in another book - it must be the publicity photo that Nash used to create the brochure... As for the Turner, it is a nice little thing - apparently you can tell a MkII from a MkIII, as here because this one has the bonnet scoop.

lMore here on a car that some considered the "most Beautiful Ford" (hadn't they ever seen a GT-40?)

Available with two V6's (3.3 and 3.8L) and one V8 (4.6L - 380HP).
Base price expected to be less than $30K ... I wonder what the V8 will sell for?
PS - I read AutoBlog, too, andy
Maybe it's just the headlights, and the angle.
But hey, at least they are trying.

Still, think about the bargain the LS was back then, just over $30k for a RWD V8 lux sedan.
Sound familiar?
Does that mean a fully loaded Hyundai will top out at 100K (equivalent) in 20 years like a Lexus does now?

The correct name of the Saab that used it is what we're looking for.

Ford yes but neither British, Aussie (nor German). Hint: it's the second production car from FoMoCo to have FWD.
