I think it is an early Ford Escort from about 1955-1960; not quite the model that we think of today. My recollection is that it was some sort of de-specced model of something else like a Squire.
There is a vaguely similar beast from Hillman in the same era, the Hillman Husky.
A salutary reminder that there is a lot to dislike about British design!
Yup, the Rover 2000TC featured a sophisticated twin-cam four in a good handling chassis. At the time it was considered the equal of a BMW 2002 (SOHC 4). Rover might have done very well in the US if word hadn't gotten around that they were poorly made.
Correct...called the "Mod Top". I was reading in Classics Magazine that the company contracted to make the top and upholstery material made shower curtains as well---LOL!
This was not a big seller, but sorta kinda collectible now. This would be a case of something being rare for the wrong reason.
Re.: the Fury Gran Coupe, I always thought it was odd that it was considered an upper-level model, but was based on the two-door post body (a la Fury I and Fury II). I wonder if they just had an excess of that body style laying around and were trying to use up bodies. By '70, Chevy had quit building full-size two-door sedans. Not sure about Ford.

Yup it's a '53 or '54 Nash Rambler Custom harstop">, the '55s lacked the skirted front wheels but the descendants of this car retained the relatively narrow track and overhanging sides which gave them a rather dated look.
The AMC Ramblers were a good example, this is a '58>
Yep it's a Fiat 1500 Cabriolet ca. 1963-65., the immediate predecessor of the 124 Sport Spider. Like the 124, the 1500 Spiders were styled by Pininfaina and bore a strong resemblance to their Ferrari, Peugeot and Alfa-Romeo cousins.
Definitely a black Santa Fe over to the left and Jetta over to the right. If it wasn't for that big yellow thing I could figure out some of the other cars in the picture
2024 Ford F-150 STX, 2023 Ford Explorer ST, 91 Mustang GT vert
I'm surprised the word 'Rambler' is used. I always thought the Rambler name was used on smaller vehicles, like a separate model line. The larger Nash models were Statesman and Ambassador, and this one looks more like a Statesman than a Rambler to me. Oh well, live and learn...
It's Chinese, a 1978 Beijing Jeep, it's probably related more closely to the Russian GAZ/UAZ 469 than to any American Jeep although Beijing Auto had a relationship with AMC and has made Cherokee and Wrangler based models.
Today they're known as Beijing-Benz and make trucks based on the G-Class, and have joint ventures with D-B. The whole thing's a bit complicated.

Methinks that it is a Consul.

I had a 51. Received it free because it had head gasket failures. Did the best I could on the problem. Again the head gasket failed. Sad.

I think Fiat but the design definitely looks like a Pinin Farina ponton body. There are echoes of the Austin A 60 and Peugeot 404
