OSCA was formed by the Maserati brothers after they lost control of the company that bears their name. Most MT4s were built as open race cars with minimal bodies like this one>
A minority got closed berlinetta coachwork for use as street-going Gran Turismos like the black Vignale body shown in 31472.
The white car in front is a Volvo 122, from the early/mid '60s, the convertible whizzing by is a '61 Chevy Impala, and the gray wagon is a Chrysler (I will say '60 but may be off by a year or so). It looks like there is something at the curb next to the Chevy, but I can't even begin to identify it.

I call that kind of custom look "douched out". It's not as somehow fun loving as a donk, it's just jerky. I bet that thing handles and rides terribly on those tires and wheels.
Can't see the front-end of the last car, so I don't know the year, but it appears to be a late 1940s Crosley with a sliding convertible roof. The white car in the center is a Crosley Hotshot circa 1950, the red vehicle is a Crosley pickup based on the sedan.
You's guys got it. That's the name Fiat bought back. Much better than the Duster or Hornet.
"Dodge is resurrecting the Dart nameplate, which had a 16-year run from 1960-'76. It is unlikely that the younger buyers who are undoubtedly targeted by Dodge would have much recollection of the Dart name. But it should make more sense than the Duster, which was a Plymouth model (it's also used by the Romanian brand Dacia)."
You can get decent money for a Hotshot these days ($20K?)
A Hotshot won the first ever race at Sebring (Index of Performance type race) and actually ran at Lemans in 1951, and was leading in its class when the generator blew up. Properly set up, they could go 90 mph. :surprise:
According to the front plate it's a Citroen. No idea what model OR the last time I saw one on the streets of America (but there's one on the Mentalist TV show).
I like that line since I heard a lot of them while a grad assistant many years ago. Seriously, appreciate your honesty about it and I always found Citroen an interesting make.
I like this design because it is very 'coherent'. You get a sense of what the designer's "message" is. I like the "speed lines", the beveled side panels for muscularity and that little rear "haunch" suggests something about to spring. The front/side scoops are I trust functional for the brakes. The A pillar trim is a bit...how do say...french?
Hope the wind wasn't blowing. Like the Golden Gate, they'll close it down to light vehicles in gales, or make you convoy. Third longest suspension bridge in the world, opened to traffic on November 1, 1957. That photo was probably taken on the formal dedication weekend on June 25-28, 1958.

I always thought (and really didn't like) how the front and rear doors on these cars look just like 180-degree-reverse images of each other, in 'cut'.
What we have here gentlemen, is your classic 3-box design.
Yes and no, it's a '66 AMC Ambassador. IIRC by '66 the Rambler American was the compact in the AMC line and the Ambassador was the full sizer.

I have been informed as to what they are by someone who use to work on these. So know I know.

Pretty classic for sure.
New Dodge Dustah.
Duster for you folks who talk funny.
(or is that Mainer for "no"?)
Y'all want to try again? :shades:

I cheated by accident. I checked the properties so I could see the photo full size and it has the answer.
