    It helps to have a motorcycle background. I had one of these many years ago and didn't find it too difficult to work on--but then I had a lot of experience tinkering with bikes.

    These cars can bring pretty good money when they are fixed . Hard to say what that one is worth in the photo--it needs to be examined up close and run.

    Looks like a matador in the front at Moses lake.

    In Yakima, Datsun 510 wahon (love those), in front of a late 60s nova with what resembles yenko stripes, but I doubt it really is one.

    I'll grab the '66 Chevy at the right in Spokane. I had moved from Richland to So Cal only 4 1/2 months earlier so l heard the whizz of the bullet I dodged.

    top right is a teal Karman Ghia that looks just like the one someone has for sale from their dad.

    68 Firebird front left. I love the styling on those.

    Yup, that is a Lamborghini Islero with much more understated styling than is typically seen on Lambos then and now. Styling was by Mario Maruzzi, an employee of Carrozzeria Touring which went bust at the time the Islero was being styled. Maruzzi finished the design independently.

    Personally I find this type of elegant Gran Turismo styling much more attractive than the audacious looks of the Aventador/Huracan/Gallardo etc.

    Yeah I should have noted it's a video. And the white car is indeed a Siata Spring - definitely an odd sight even then.

    I was thinking the car behind the Ghia at the end was some model of 68 Pontiac.

    Yep, it's an '86 to be exact. I once drove a standard Plymouth Horizon and that little 1.7 generated enough torque steer to nearly rip the steering wheel from my hands. I couldn't even imagine what the more powerful Shelby GLHS versions would do... no thanks!

    My '87 Shelby Daytona, shown, had the elimination of a torque steer problem by having a terribly large wall to wall turning circle of 37.1 feet, with its wheelbase of only 97 inches.

    Wrench, that is what happens when you stick fat tires in a skinny wheelwell. Our Omnis had a really tight turning radius IIRC. though also only about 165 tires!

    On that Daytona there was a space between the inside tire wall and a part of the strut which was so small I couldn't pass my small finger through.

    A lot of prewar material in that shot, I guess easier in a place not subject to as many ravages of war.

    I'll just pick off the rounded little wagon at lower right, which I believe is a Peugeot 203 break.
