    They might offer a 30 month lease. Generally, a bank will give you any term you want. But, if it's not one of their standard offerings, then it could be less financially friendly.

    36 months is the sweet spot, this month. 33 month numbers are worse.

    36/10:
    SE: .00119 MF and 60% residual
    SE-Pr: .00106 MF and 60% residual
    HSE: .00030 MF and 56% residual

    Add 1% for 7.5K/yr

    Michaell, our local dealer now has promotion for 2017 Evoque SE premium MSRP 49,385 $0 down pay (out of pocket around $2k) $399+tax/month 36 month , 7500 miles a year. Is this a good deal?

    How much total is due at signing? The information I have shows $2400 cap reduction, and about $3500 total due.

    Don't have the specific information for LR, but generally 700 or 720 is the minimum score for the top tier MF.

    MF seems to be marked up on you.

    With your prices, I get $485/mo before tax with the inflated MF; that is costing you about $25/mo

    Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is for their quote.

    I just wanted to share, I don't know if I got a good deal, but I was satisfied when I left and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

    SE Premium w/ Sirius Package
    36 mo., 12K, 57% residual, 0.0026 MF about 46K, 1,500 down., Excellent Credit, $575 mo. in California.

    They had a MF of 0.0065 when they brought their first offer out.

    To evaluate a payment, we'd need the selling price and/or adjusted CAP cost.

    On the surface, that looks better than the advertised lease on a unit with $46,795 MSRP.

    Thanks! If they are currently running a $2000 Customer Cash Back and a $1000 Dealer rebate on the lease, I can expect $3000 to be deducted from the Base Cap cost (purchase price), correct???

    If it's a LR to dealer incentive, then you have to negotiate a lower purchase price to take advantage of it.

    I'd expect any quote you get to already include any incentives, so base your offers on that. Very few dealers will negotiate $45000 (for example), then when finished, say, "Oh yeah, here is $2000 more!"

    Good point, thanks. Haven't negotiated a price yet - it's listed at $39,000 with 4200 miles. I think MSRP is only $42,000, so I don't feel like they've accounted for the incentives in the price (yet).

    All else being equal, that's the best bang for your buck, assuming the equipment matches up with your needs.

    Thanks for all the help...So, went to the dealer today to lease a 2017 SE Premium. Online price was $42,500. I had confirmed all lease variables/fees before-hand. When I sat down with salesperson he told me the $42,500 price was the price if I were to “buy” the car, but the lease purchase price is $2,000 more. He said this is because the dealer is getting a $2,000 rebate on a purchase, but not on a lease. Can this be correct?

    Yes, there are often purchase incentives in different amounts than lease incentives.

So if I negotiated the lease purchase price down $500, and they gave me another $1000 off for the lease rebate, the final lease purchase price comes out to be $500 more than the listed price to “buy” the vehicle. I have a hard time feeling like I negotiated a good deal when my final negotiated price is higher than the online purchase price. Is that something I just need to get over?

    Yes, if you lease you have to accept that the pricing will be different, due to different incentives.
