Can you please confirm the MF is identical for both Rogue S and Rogue Sport S? The dealership is trying to justify a higher payment by telling me the money factor is higher for the Sport.

Another question, normally what is the trend for residual value's? It appears to be lower now that is was a few months ago. Is this a trend and expected to get worse next month? Or waiting till November pay off with a higher residual value? Since 15k/36mo is 51% but previously it was 54% or 55%.

Your tax number is too high. NY taxes the sum of the payments and any taxable amounts paid upfront (like rebates or CAP reductions). I would guess the tax amount will be roughly half of that.
Also, no mention of the $595 acquisition fee.

You need the actual adjusted CAP cost for the lease to calculate the payment.

I live in Illinois...the only vehicle with the exact color and options I want is across the border in Michigan. Illinois charges tax on the total of down payment and monthly payments. I'm being told by the dealer that if I lease thru them and bring the vehicle back to Illinois, I would have to pay tax on the full Cap Cost. which turns out to be $1400 more, spread over 36 months. Can anyone confirm? Thank you

We don't have any information on that specific situation; check the website of the IL department of revenue to see if they have any guidance.

That doesn't sound right. But, if the dealer says that's the deal, then you don't want that vehicle. You can't make them do anything.

Not familiar with the rebate, or it's terms, so couldn't say. (or, even if the rebate is compatible with a lease)

Generally, rebates don't affect money factors.
