Thank your sir!! Chrysler has $5000 IDL rebate right now and with dealer reduction+ $5000IDL+ my qualified incentives($1000 conquest, $1000 SAMs club, 500 truck month and 500 bonus) I got right at $12,800 off of MSRP. I am happy but going through US Bank the residual is the same but money factor a tad higher. Bottom line at lease end the same is owed and payments are less. I'm not trying to break the dealer but they have an "inception" and an "acquisition" fee included along with tax and doc fee?? Isn't acquisition and inception pretty much the same? I'm getting a $53,305 truck for $440 a month with zero out of pocket but if I got rid of one of those fees it would be about $418. Just curious. They have US BANK at 55%, .0021.  That's 5% compared to chryslers below 1% mf but the $5000 cash more than covers it. Just curious to the inception and overall deal. $29,317 residual sign and drive.

Inception sounds like BS. Acquisition fee is imposed by the bank, and a dealer doc fee is just extra money for the dealer.

I test drove a Big Horn 1500 Crew Cab last night. Love the truck.

The MSRP is 46010 - Adjusted CAP 36744.67. I asked for 36/12 and 36/15 pricing.

I was expecting a payment of 325.57 (36/12) and 353.63 (36/15) I assumed residuals of 57 and 55% and a money factor of .00006.

They came back with payments of 469 (36/12) and 495 (36/15) through US Bank.

The money factor is .0011 and residuals are 52/50.

This is where it got interesting. I asked for numbers through Chrysler financial, and they told me that I would lose most of the incentives. I knew this was BS, so I pressed the issue, and they told me it was actually just 1000.00 incentive that drops off. Probably still false, but fair enough.

They then proceeded to tell me that the residuals through Chrysler were LOWER than through US Bank. More BS. They told me the finance guy would call me personally (doubtful) and we would see what we could figure out.

Thanks to this site, I knew I was getting screwed and had the information to walk away, so thanks for that!

I'm going to try to get them to hold to the price they quoted me, 37744.67 (adding back in the additional 1000.00 of "lost incentive", and by my calculations, my payment should be:

36/12 - 356.19
36/15 - 384.25

Do these numbers look right, and should I try to deal with these guys or start over?

Actually, the dealer is right about some of this.

If you go with a 3rd party bank (US Bank or Ally), there are incentives in play that don't exist if you use Chrysler Capital.

We don't have any 3rd party lease info, so can't tell you if the residuals are better or worse.

In general, the MF is higher for 3rd party banks, to offset the big incentives.

We went through Chrysler Financial so .00002 and 57% (36/12)

MSRP $46010.00
Adjusted CAP cost $40311.00
Zero out of pocket - 427.92 per month

I owed $15805.00 on my 2014 Kia Sportage, which had a book value of $12800.

I was going to hold on to it longer, but the vehicle was just too small for what we needed.

All in all, I'm really pleased. Thanks for the information here, it really helps.
