Hope I'm putting this in the right place. Looking at a 2017 CR-V Touring 2WD Pearl White in Baton Rouge, La internet price is 33,335 they are only wanting to come off the price $1500. Can you tell me if this is a good deal for this area? Thanks
Is anybody getting Quotes for a 2017 CR-V Touring AWD below $33,500 (MSRP $34,635). I am looking in California, Northern preferred, but will go to Southern if it makes economic sense.
Did you have any luck in Nor Cal lower than 33500? I'm looking too,in this area and that what I've gotten so far as well. If you did can you pass on the dealership you had better luck with and your deal? TIA.

Nothing lower yet. Inventory on this model is still lean, though I hear that this should improve towards the end of April. This is for my wife, and we are returning, or selling, a Leased car that ends mid-June, so I am watching and waiting to see if the combination of increased inventory and possibly lagging sales will steer towards a lower price within this time frame, though we would be ready to do today. I do have a favorite dealer, from whom I acquired an Accord Hybrid back in November of 2016. I will keep this forum posted.
Just wanted to leave my experience, because I appreciated hearing about others. Yesterday, purchased a '17 Honda CR-V EX AWD (no Nav) for $25811 in Massachusetts. I contacted 2 other local Honda dealers, and neither of them said they'd match that price. I was even satisfied with what they gave me for my trade ('12 Honda Pilot). I'm now on my 20th year of owning Hondas (Del Sol, CRV, Civic, CRV, Pilot, CRV).
Can you confirm if this is the out the door price? I am looking for the same trim/options and am ~3 hours away. Willing to drive down at this price!
For Katana312 - If the $28,800 includes the 8% NY sales tax then I would take it. The invoice price for your vehicle is $27,221 (that is the price of the vehicle to the dealership plus the $940 transportation charge). That would calculate as a price for the vehicle to you of right at $26667 plus 8% sales tax equals $28.800.36. Thats a good deal for you if you can get that on paper and there is nothing additional added at all. Good luck.
Toyota is providing an incentive to purchase their new 2017 Rav4 with 0% financing up to 72 months + $500 cash rebate. Honda is not making similar offer for their CRV. When do you think Honda will match incentive offer? I have an eye to purchase the 2017 Touring.

My guess is that you won't see any incentives on the new 2017 CR-V until demands slows up and supply starts to accumulate on the dealer lots.

Thanks for your response! Yes, the price quoted is out the door with taxes and dmv fees. I will get that in writing before jumping on it.
I had been lurking and reading since December as my 2014 Accord lease is up in 2 weeks. Appreciate all the good reading. In So Cal. Bought a 2017 EX-L CR-V this week for straight invoice + tax + DMV + $90 doc fee. Was about $31500 OTD.
Very happy with the car - surprised at how much evolution since 2014 in terms of features and electronics. I don't fully understand LKS and the other lane deviation acronym - this is the first time in a while I feel like I'm going to need to read the manual. I like CarPlay a lot, but it definitely has some bugs to work out - I'm counting on Apple to improve it without the car needing software updates.
Purchased yesterday April 22, 2017 and wanted to share as I used this site to see what others had paid. I am north of Sacramento, CA . MSRP was $34,635, this dealer's price was over that at $37,235 WHAT!!! We spent 4 hours there and ended up with $1277 under MSRP. We love the car, but negotiating is a pain! I went in and asked for 10% under MSRP and they came back with the MSRP cause they can sell them over the MSRP! So from there we haggled more, but spent more time sitting there waiting for the manager to come back with a counter offer. Hated the waiting game!

I'm also in upstae, NY . If you don't mind could you please share your dealer information ? Thanks
For Changkum: Invoice price for a 2017 Honda CRV EX 2wd is $26,004. The vehicle you mention is being offered for about $2000 less than invoice. Make sure the vehicle was not a demo model with a bunch of miles on it and that the vehicle in question DOES have the new car warranty. See what the dealership wants to add to the sale price if you try to buy it. Good luck.
2017 Honda CRV-EX AWD. Modern steel metallic. Hamilton, NJ $26,421 + $450 accessories (mud flaps, wheel locks, trunk tray etc.) + tax, tag and title. Also got lifetime oil + filter changes and free car washes. I think I got a pretty good deal on it. I know I they got me a little on the accessories package but they did not get me for the fabric treatment, paint protection etc. that they had also done to the vehicle. I negotiated via email with three, then two local dealerships.

I looked up online and called internet sales manager and got an answer yes with $22,000. Couple days ago, i went in to the same dealer and talked with other sale person said that i want to buy the car 22k. They were not willing to match the price back then. On the last day of the month, they said yes. come in. wow.
for Petercx7: Both vehicles are being offered at about $10 below invoice price so it is your choice as to which one you like better. I have heard that Honda does not have holdbacks like American car companies so the negotiation is up to you, the dealership will not be making a profit on the sale of either CRV. Taxes, registration and title charges are a local thing depending on where you are in the country. The price you pay for the vehicle is the only focal point that is important, the dealer has to make enough to stay in business and pay the bills, you have to be able to afford the car and all of its costs. It is a new month so lets hope the prices don't change. The prices you state are in your favor being below invoice.
For ju12345: The price of $25,695 is an amazing price. You can always try to negotiate more but the price is already $1526 below invoice of $27,221 and that price does not include advertising fees that Honda may hit dealerships with. If you want the 2017 Honda CRV EX awd then run to the dealership and don't let the opportunity go by. Just watch for any items the dealership could try to add to the price during the financing negotiations. OTD of $28,324 is impressive, for you.
Working on closing on a 2017 CR-V Touring AWD in Northern California. Does anyone know the current interest rate for a 72 month loan, Tier 1, with AHFS? And, if possible, if it is rated at a Tier 2, what would be that interest rate. Thank you!

We don't have that information. The only APR info is on models with "special" terms, and that is definitely not the CR-V.
If I had to guess, 4.9%-5.9% APR for 72 months. You'd probably be better off going through your bank or credit union.
Have you purchased a new vehicle in the last six months, and are you willing to talk about your experience getting a loan? If so, a reporter would love to talk to you about your experience. Please email PR@Edmunds.com by Wednesday, May 17, 2017 letting us know if you were a new or returning customer to your dealership and if the experience was different than what you expected (easier/harder to get financed, higher/lower interest rate, etc.). Thanks for your help!
I just purchased a 2017 Honda CRV AWD touring edition in gun metal metallic. Details below.
Where- Albany NY area MSRP - 34,795 Paid - 32,057
Not including any taxes or fees as these are different for everyone!
Local dealers were quoting online 33500 roughly- but one dealer in Vermont just an hour and a half away quoted the 32057.00- I went to Vermont to confirm and then hit up a powerhouse dealer in Scotia NY to get them to match the price.

What dealer in Vermont did you deal with? I am also in the Albany NY area and in the market for the CR-V EX-L without the navi and would like to find the best quote possible. So far best i have heard is $29,054.
28600 I was quoted for a ex-l - I don't get why people would want a nav edition of this car when the Exl has Apple/Google car apps. Seems like a decent deal
I just bought a 2017 Honda CR-V EX AWD and here is what I paid : Car price : $ 25,700 Reg/Tag/Title fees( New Plates estimated $400, but I think it's little less than that ) + Tax + Dealer fee+...... = $28,521 OTD Finance through my Fairwinds Credit Union at 0.75% rate Bought the car in Central Florida, but I have to move to Boston next year for school, that's why I need AWD Since not many AWD in most FL dealers, It took me almost a month back and forth, Finally, this dealer accept my offer of $25,700
My profile: 28 years. Living 2 years in USA Credit Score 690
So, after 2 hours I received my final quote, to pay in 72 months:
MSRP 29,750.00 TAX 1,798.21 TAG FEE 521.15 PROCESSING FEE 699.00 Taxable Fee 104.50 Total 32,872.86
Down Payment: 5500 72x - $ 588!!!!!!!
Total: 47.836
Is this price right?
General rule of thumb for "good deal" is that your monthly payment is about 1% of the MSRP of the car. $588 should be able to get you in a new car with MSRP $55k - $58k. For $588 a month there's better options out there.

Thank you everyone in this board to help my purchase. We just closed the deal today. It is a 2017 EX FWD with no Nav. 26000 + TTL+ reg Fee in So Cal. The deal also includes these accessories : wheel lock, cheap plastic trunk tray, door clear plastic guard, and splash guards. Internet sale guy at Diamond Honda is good and nice but the finance guy is very slippery and tricky. We caught him trying to slip in 1000 dollar for the unwanted alarm package! Prices are going down now; I think I can do better by spending more time shopping! but we need a car now so I guess it is an ok deal.
On Saturday, May 20 we bought a 2017 CR-V EXL AWD (white diamond pearl with ivory interior, which seems to be hard to find around here in an EXL AWD) at Nourse Honda in Chillicothe, Ohio. Their initial offer was 3% under MSRP (MSRP is $31,435, incl. dest. charge), plus splash guards for $150 more. I showed them the website of a dealer in Portsmouth, Ohio, 45 miles away, selling them for 5% below MSRP. They accepted that, so I got it for 29.861, plus $150 for splash guards (which I wanted) plus some other add-ons that I wanted, plus fees ($250 doc. plus $44 title, no other fees). Salesman Tyler was pleasant to deal with and we had a good overall experience. Even the dreaded visit to the finance room was relatively quick and free of pressure to sign-up for add on insurance, maint. plans, etc.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the sales manager told us that 5% off MSRP is about $300 over invoice. Does anyone know if that's true?? If so, then that would mean that the invoice price for an EXL AWD is about $29,561.
