I went to dealer for Kia Sedona sx 2017 with touring package. Can you tell me these numbers makes sense.
MRSP 41855, dealer selling price 37000, acq fee 650 and dmv/fee 220 and 8 % tax for 12/36, with 0.00224, Res 44% and 8500 rebate, dealer giving me number of 481.67 after adding 474 cap reduction tax.
But in the lease detail, he is putting cap red to 5936.22 instead of 8500, telling me, it ll save me on tax.
my numbers comes to 468 per month (after putting 8500 cap res) .
Also is it good deal or do I need to negotiate more on selling price?

We don't track prices, so can't help you there.

What is the adjusted cap number the dealer used for their payment quote? And, how did they get there from the selling price? Want to make sure there isn't any junk (read: profit) in there.

I confirm those numbers.

Looks like he is paying the upfront charges (first payment, tax on cap reduction, DMV/dealer fees, sales tax) out of the rebate, before applying the rest as CAP reduction.

I get $462/mo. with (37000 - 5936 = $31064) as the adjusted CAP.

Without seeing all of the numbers, I can only guess at the discrepancy.

The lease cash is, I believe, a consumer discount and shows up on the deal sheet as a cap reduction.

If I'm wrong, then simply negotiate your best price knowing that the incentive exists.
