    I have a dealer telling me an HSE 36/12 is MF 0.001950 and 54% residual and they are saying that is the standard Chase rate. Sounds like I am being lied to. Thoughts?

    Base rate is .00095. Dealer can mark it up .00100 for extra profit.

    You decide what the dealer is telling you, based off of that information.

    Just wanted to let you know, thanks to this site and kyfdx & Michaell, I was able to get a 2017 RRS HSE at the exact MF and residual you said with zero markup. It took a little back and forth, but being educated and having those exact figures helped. Thanks so much!

    I don't think so. Very tight supply/demand in the Bay Area and dealers know that inventory is limited and a working with a new dealer would mean re-ordering and waiting another 5 months :(

    Only discount from MSRP, which was $1K. Wasn't sure whether I was going to lease, finance, or pay cash at the time.

    What lease term?

    I think there ought to be some discount from sticker, but I've never shopped in that price range.

    And, use the trade in to cover the first payment and DMV costs - have the dealer cut you a check for the balance. Not a good idea to put money down on a lease.
