Hi Tezz, Please keep in mind that this is for a BASE model of the G37. If you are shooting for the Journey, your residual will drop another 1%. With that said, the doc fee here in California is $45, which is lower than dealers some states. (some have $0 doc fee). Now, based on your question, I went back to look at my numbers and I realized I goofed. My actual payments are $419 because I rolled in what I owed on my old car. So the calculations I posted before were based on the G37 without my trade-in rolled in. I originally put in estimated numbers on my previous post. Below are the actual numbers from my contract. So essentially I am paying about $16 bucks extra a month to get rid of my old car.
Funny it came out even lower than the $404.90 I originally estimated. Haha. If you are leasing a Base model, then this is what you should expect, if its a Journey + Premium then its at least another $40 bucks more.
By the way, for those who have leased recently, I'd like to feature your ride on my website. If you are interested, CLICK HERE. This is all for fun, make sure you blur out your plates. If you don't know how to, I will do it for you.
If you are paying more than your first months payment when you walk out the door you are risking loosing that money if you crash, it gets stolen, or you decide to trade your lease. That is unless the money down was in the form of a refundable security deposit.
That may be true, but if you don't pay off your fees, you will be financing it at whatever IFS rate you lease on PLUS tax. Also, it is not written in stone that the security deposit will be refunded if the car is totalled or stolen. I wouldn't recommend putting a down payment on the car, but I would try to payoff some of the fees upfront instead of rolling it into the payments, but that all depends on the lease rate. If its only 2% or less, then I'd roll it. if its more, I wouldn't. IFS current doesn't offer a low enough rate to entice me to roll the fees into the payments.
I am trying to negotiate a lease for a 2008 G37 Journey coupe with premium package, navigation package and cargo net. 36 months. I received the following offer from a dealership. Any comments that anyone can give me would be much appreciated. I'm just trying to make sure I don't get "snookered." Thanks.
list price $41,175.00 sale price $37,300.00 dealer fee $499.95 bank fee $595.00 rate .00192 residual 61% ($24,516.75) mileage 17,000 per year---51,000 total total due at signing $3000.00 includes 1st month payment, plate transfer and fees PAYMENT----- $473.39 INCLUDING TAX FOR 36 MONTHS We cannot lease a car with Infiniti without a bank fee and all of cars have a dealer fee but you can see we are selling it less than your offer price of $37,781.00. This quote is for a in stock vehicle only and must be delivered by 5/31/2008.
Just purchased a Honda Odyssey for my wife and now looking to lease a G37 sport. I currently have a Infiniti FX35, lease ends on 9/08. Looking for a great deal to keep my monthly payments low without a down payment (just tags & 1st mth).
Was also considering the Audi A5; was told I may have a hard time finding one.
Someone in the forum mentioned they got a below invoice deal from Ray Catena Infiniti. I'm looking for the same car so plan on getting another quote from this dealer next week. Good luck with your purchase.
The A5 is a sweet car, but i'm not sure Audi is as aggressive with their rates as IFS is right now.
kermitdog sounds like a great deal! better than anything i got so far. can you please tell me what state and dealer you are dealing with? I am in Texas and i rather buy there and have it transfered to Texas.
Is anyone familiar with or has done the VPP program? I have a couple of fees that are a bit questionable. The first is the dealer delivery fee. They want 838.36. Do I owe this number? The dealer couldn't give me a good reason for this fee. Also the Destination and handling charge, can I get that paid for by the dealer? ($715)Currently I'm at about 482 with 15k miles and G35x with Premium and Nav and about 600 down. If I pay a bunch of the fees and go to somewhere around 1200 the payment runs about 457. How am I doing?
The VPP plan fixes the price for the car with destination included. For most G models this will be $300 or less over invoice, for a few loaded up models it will be a little over $300 over invoice. This is using the "plan C" or "plan D" VPP pricing, actual Nissan employees and their immediate families have a VPP price under invoice.
You have to pay the $595 bank fee (lease acquisition fee) and whatever the dealer normally charges for a "doc" or "prep" fee. You also have to pay for any dealer installed option you want - or the dealer tries to stick you with that are pre-installed.
That should be it. Look up invoice for the model you want with the options you want, add in the destination charge, and then add $300 to that price. That should be about your price for the car.
Sounds like your dealer is jacking up the $595 bank fee to $838.36? They can do that to get some extra profit. They can also mark up the lease money factor for more profit and many Infiniti dealers do.
If you have a VPP claim code the price for the car is fixed, so it is very important to find a dealer with little or no "doc" fees, no lease mark ups, and no mandatory dealer add on accessories. Sounds like you need to find a better dealer. Tell us where you are located and maybe someone can recommend another dealer. You can also use the Infiniti dealer locator to find dealers in a wide radius around where you live. Contact their "Internet sales" departments and ask them:
1) What is your doc or prep fee? 2) Do you mark up the IFS lease money factor and / or $595 bank fee? 3) Any dealer installed options on your cars?
Once you find a dealer that has no markup, no options, and little or no doc fees - then see if they will accept a VPP claim code on the model you want.
Dennis, Thank you for the info. I found a bit more info on what is this dealer delivery fee. Apparently when a dealer sells at the pre-negotiated price-Invoice minus 1.65%, the dealer qualifies for a 5% delivery fee. Nissan pays all for A and B, but C and D have to pay half of that 5%. So there is that fee and destination and handling charges. Here are some sample numbers: Invoice on one of the cars is 34097. -562.60 (VPP) +838.36-dealer delivery fee +765 (Destination) =35287.76. And doc fee is 118. I'm getting them to throw in some mud guards and all weather mats and some oil changes because another co-worker is going to get an EX. I just don't want to make any mistakes. We have two dealers in the greater Milwaukee area, one thus far is a bit better than the other. Thanks for all the help.
Correct, your net price should be within $300 of invoice when you include the destination charge.
The VPP price is printed on the invoice and the dealer is required to show it to you.
You need to check your math, if $34,862 is invoice including the $765 destination charge then the VPP price should be $35,137.76 .
You have to take off the destination charge, then take off 1.65% of the invoice, then add back 2.5% of the number that is left (not the original invoice), then add the destination back in.
MK...I'd like to know the name of the salesman that you dealt with at Ray Catena if you don't mind. It sounds like you got a pretty good deal so I'd like to comparison shop.
I just got back from Circle Infiniti in Eatontown. I'm looking at the the G35x with Premium, Nav, and Wood trim in Blue Slate (list $40,415) . The quote I received with no money down except first months payment is $485 including tax. This is a 39mnth/15K miles per year. They are giving me $1K for a trade in. Based on those numbers, it's a pretty good deal but it's all contingent on the value they are giving me for the trade-in. I want to see if I can do better elsewhere. My trade-in is a 98 accord v6 coupe with a $150K miles on it. It runs but the tranny is shot. They drove it and noticed immediately. Still, I want to see if I can get at least $2K for it....blue book is $5K
If anyone has any advice on my situation, I'd appreciate it. I know it's unique since I'm trying to negotiate with a trade-in.
Great forum...thanks guys.
Also, anyone know if the June deals will be better or worse?
I hate to car shop because of the dealer games, so I thought I would share this basic "how to start" email, based on suggestions from dwynne and others in this forum. I found the "internet sales guy" email address on the dealership website. For me, if the email address was not online, I assumed the dealer was a bozo (at best) and I skipped him. Life's too short to deal with bozos.
"I'm looking for a no-nonsense quote on a G35 as follows. I intend to buy this week if the numbers are good. * 2008 Infiniti G35 Journey * Premium Package * Nav Package * Exterior color [insert yours here] * Interior color [ditto] Could you quote me your bottom-line price on this car (if you have it in stock), and let me know what your doc/prep fees are, and if there are any dealer-installed options already on the car or other fees? I understand the IFS buy rate MF on this car (top tier) is 0.00126 for a 24 month lease, and the residual is 70% (12k/yr). If you mark up your MF please let me know."
Some dealerships will not respond at all, some respond with spam, and a few will offer serious information.
If you are in Southern California, or are willing to fly there and take a road trip home in a new car (what a sacrifice), I highly recommend Mission Viejo Inifiniti between LA and San Diego. Their initial offer, based on my email, was to obtain the color and options I wanted from another dealer, for a price of invoice + 500 and a doc fee of $45, with no added dealer garbage and no MF mark up. I ran their numbers on my Excel spreadsheet, and they added up to the penny. I could negotiate a few hundred bucks lower, but I like to reward good behavior
Here is the deal, 24 mo, 12k/yr with one email Monday and deal closed in a short phone call Tuesday: Journey, Prem + Nav MSRP = 37725 Neg. Price = 34994 Cap Cost = 34944+595 bank fee (rolled into the lease at this cheap MF) Drive off = DMV, $45 doc fee, first month's pmt (about 850 in CA) Pmt = 460.68+tax
Most people live within a decent drive of a major metro area. The dealers in San Diego are [insert bad word here], but how far are you willing to drive to save a few K? For me, it's only 60 miles to southern fringe of LA, where free market competition works its magic. Your mileage may vary.
I have been reading the board for the past week and I know a lot more about leasing then I did before...which was basically nothing.
What I am wondering is how do you know when you have a good deal and when to ask for more? I walked into the dealer they quoted me $480 with $2500 down. I saw someone on the boards say if you can afford $480 a month you probably cant afford the G - For some its not about the money but the principle. Im not paying $480 if the last guy that walked out paid $425!!
I walked out on that deal. Next time I walked in they quoted me $435 with $2500 down- not a bad jump considering I hadnt even started negotiating yet. That was for the G35x with premium package. MSRP $37815
Here is what Im working with now: G35x premium, nav, cargo net, splash guards MSRP $40180 sales price $36315 ($400 below invoice) 24 months - 15k miles $2066 out of pocket I used residual 70% and mf .00131 (both of which I was able to get here) tax .08625
I added the bank fee of $595 to the sales price = $36910 and I ran the numbers in the lease calculator - which I also got here. The total monthly charge I got was $557.41 with $2066 down or $590.44 with no money down.
She offered $423 a month - given those numbers I cant see how it makes any sense unless Im going about this all wrong.
Can any of you leasing gurus offer valuable imput? Are my calculations correct? Is it a good deal? Anyone seen better?
Thank you,
Laura Long Island NY
Did I mention I was able to get a coupon for $150 off your best negotiated deal?? Im keeping that one in my back pocket till all is said and done! Every little bit helps!
Laura, With those numbers and the lease calculator I found at www.ridewithg.com, the numbers with nothing down would be 489.27. With 2k down you should be below 400. And with the additional 150 bonus, if I figure the numbers correctly you should be at 388.90. The one caveat is whether or not the sale price includes or does not include destination charge. If not, then then number jumps to 421(with 2k down). With the low interest rates, it doesn't make any sense to put any money down. Muni securities are paying 4% tax free for goodness sakes, but that's a different topic. All the numbers include tax.
Thanks for your response. My lease calculator must be broken or Im doing something really wrong. Can you print screen a copy of the way it looks when you imput mine numbers and email it to me at my screen name at aol.
On a separate note I took someone on the boards advice and sent emails to the internet salesperson at 3 car dealers in my area this morning. I got 1 actual response. And when he called me back with the numbers I was so impressed. $429 month/36months/15 miles for G35X premium and nav with $2000 out the door. At least it sounded good until I started asking the educated questions with what I learn here he was stammering and everything quickly went down hill. oh you wanted 15k - my quote was for 10 - residual? I dont know anything about that - I made him go look and he finally admitted to high 50's but thats all I could get out of him. whats included in the 2k down? well taxes and some other stuff.
Now Im hesitating to do a 24 month lease only because I dont want to have to go through this again so quickly!!
Hi Laura, I was reading your post and wanted to throw in my thoughts out there for you. When negotiating, try to shoot for a good sale price. Currently, in select parts of the country, you can get pretty close to invoice price. I personally got about $37 over invoice on my G37 a few weeks ago. (this includes the destination charge of $765 but excludes the $45 doc fee and $595 bank fee). I chose to pay the "fees" up front because the MF was a bit higher than I liked, so I didn't want to pay interest on it. You can see the outline of my deal HERE. make sure the dealer outlines all the fees you will be paying and compare it with other deals to make sure there aren't any discrepancies. I personally hate it when dealers play the "monthly payment" game because it obscures the details of the deal.
I'm considering leasing a 2nd G35 - first was in March of 08. The car is a G35 sedan with Premium/Journey, 15k miles/year, 36 months.
The deal then, which the dealer has offered to match now, was $718 down (initial month, tags, fees, etc.), $436/month + tax. I thought it was a decent deal back in March, and included a $500 manufacturer's incentive. This month, the incentive is not being offered by Infiniti, and the dealer claims to be "dipping into his holdback" in order to reach his numbers for the month.
Any thoughts on this, good or bad? I'm of the opinion that Infiniti will offer more incentives in the coming months. The dealer claims that this won't happen, that 50%+ of the cars Infiniti sells are the G's, so no incentive is needed. I'm not in a huge rush, but if it's a good deal, I might do it. Opinions???
For all of you trying to figure out whether you are getting a good deal or not...and for those contemplating where to start the leasing process..start with the sale price and then calculate payments using the current residual and money factor figures, and you should always have honest numbers. Not only does this simplify the process for you, it is also is fool proof. Numbers don't lie, dealers do.
From what i gather, from all the information and quotes others have been getting, there seems to be additonal incentives for the 39 month G35 leases. I'm not sure what that added incentive is, but i'm sure most dealers won't quickly release that information.
For you NJ buyers, i've received a great quote from Lynnes Infiniti recently. So far the internet dept. offered the most compelling deal. I suggest you shop around.
NDurick..lets start off by saying your money factor is off..go back on this thread and get the correct money factor for the G35. I don't remember it being .000192.
I'd be awfully careful about working with Lynne's Infiniti. My suggestion is to use their quote to shop to other dealers that are less prone to unsavory behavior (which you shouldn't have to except from an Infiniti dealer). Lynne's already pulled a bait and switch - the cars that they advertise in the Star Ledger as thousands below MSRP (the old 07 Ms listed as in stock) in some cases were sold weeks ago, based on carfax reports. I asked 10 days ago about buying two of the 07s - they advertise five altogether, and have done so for weeks and continue to do so - and was told that they only had 1 in stock, despite the ads (that they had been running and continue to run).
MSRP 42,595 Cap Cost (no fees or reductions): 38,822 Residual 0.63 Res Value: 26834.85 MF 0.00192 Term 36 MO 12k Miles/yr Base Monthly Payment: 459.04 Base Monthly with Tax: 496.91
Due at signing: 400 for Title and Reg (seems a bit high for California) 55 DMV Doc Tire Fee 9.75 Bank Fee 575 First Months Payment: 496.91 Total Drive Off: 1,536
What do you guys think? That Title Fee looks a bit steep.
Also, re your comment about "flying" and then driving back. I think this is an invalid option because states require you to have the state license you will be bringing it to. So basically, the only positive you can get out of flying and driving back is the cost of the car and that obviously offsets plane/road trip costs.
Either way, thanks for how you communicated to the dealers.
It just depends on how much you save. My local dealer charges $500 for a doc fee and has over $1k or dealer crap-o-la added to every G. The dealer I got my G37 from has a $0 doc fee and adds nothing to the cars. Well worth the drive both ways to go get it for what I saved. I saved over $1,200 on my wife's Pilot by doing a little driving to go get it.
So if your local dealers will not give you a good price, then expand your search until you find a dealer that will give you a nice price. The savings could be worth the travel.
I am looking to talk to a few dealerships tomorrow about getting a g35x with premium/sport and just want some reassurance that the figures I have calculated are correct:
Hoping since it almost the last day of the month to get it at invoice. Residual - 28578.00 Total of all payments: 9726.00 405.27 per month including taxes Fees to be paid up front - 1st month, acq of 595 + Doc fees/DMV fees/tire tax and some other tax??
Does this sound right?
The other alternative with same 24/15k would be g35x with sport/premium/navi and the figures I came up for that are:
MSRP - 41065.00 Invoice - 37502.00 Residual - 28575.00 Total of payments - 11772.00 Monthly inclusive of 7% tax - 490.49 First month/acq/doc/dmv/tire/tax
Depending on what they have in stock I would take either, but my main concern is that I have done my homework correctly on MSRP/Invoice and calculated the figures.
I signed a lease yesterday on essentially the same car - G35X with premium, sport, splash guards and trunk cargo net. Here are the details:
MSRP - $38,425 Negotiated price - $34,611 Maryland sales tax - $2,136 Tags - $265 Acquisition fee - $595 Total cap cost (price + tax, tags and acq fee) - $37,606 Residual - 62% (36 month @ 12,000 miles per year) Money factor - .00150 Monthly payment - $475
To benchmark the deal you were offered, if I had paid tax, tags and acq fee at the time of signing the lease, my payment would have been $387.
I can't thank everyone (especially Car_man) in this forum enough for providing such relevant information. I have been monitoring this message board for some time and I felt confident and in control of the negotiation with the dealer.
G35X Premium + Nav. (24mo, @ 12k mi. per yr.) Msrp - 40180 Sale Price - 36873 Res. - 71% MF - .00131 Out of Pocket- 1421.63 (includes 950 tax, 1st month's @ 459, 12.50 tire fee, Bank Fee was waived or put in payments somehow) $459 per mo.
I was wondering if i could lease a G35 journey with just sport and premium pkgs, with about $2000 total drive off w/10k miles a year for less than $400 a month for 36months w/ tax?
I know the residual is %62 and the mf is .00150, my credit is around 710, but my dads is around 750 so he could easily qualify for teir 1 etc.
Im in So cal so would I have to pay the taxes on the whole car upfront as i saw CAGORM had his up front.
I need some help because I am not sure if this is a good deal or not. How can I figure it out. Not sure how to do the calculations?? I am looking at the 08 G35X with prem pkg. MSRP 38480. sale price 36115 bank fee 595.00 doc fee 195 60% residual, money factor .00172 39 month lease , 12k a year, with total of 2900 down for 430 a month. Any help would be appreciated since I need a decision by tomorrow since it is the end of the month.
Check out my post earlier today. The car I leased had essentially the same MSRP ($38,425). My negotiated price of $34,611 was inclusive of the doc fee. Your negotiated price, inclusive of the doc fee, is $36,310. I think you can do better. You may also want to look back at previous posts in this forum about the disadvantages of putting money down on a lease.
How did you negotiate $3,800? That's awsome. Also your residual was 62% mine is 60%. Should I try to get that up to 62% or is that fixed?? Thanks for your help.
62% is on a 36 month/12k per year lease and the MF is .00150. Just print off my deal, give it to them and tell them that cagorm got this deal and you want it too or else you will go to cagorm's dealer to do the deal.
Absolutely. Especially in an area like So Cal where there are an abundant number of dealers, expanding from 50 to 100 miles will probably make a world of a difference.
On another note, i just want to mention that for folks who are unlucky enough to live in a state that charges sales tax on the entire selling price of the car (Illinois), if you're permanent residency is in Illinois, there is no use going to, say, Indiana, to save on the sales tax. There's simply no way around it. However, if you live in Indiana where they don't charge sales tax on the entire selling price of the car, then you are free to purchase it in illinois. I, for one, was hoping to find a way to avoid it, but unfortunately, after several calls, there's no choice (if you're a permanent resident of illinois).
So I'm assuming many of you are leasing 08s, whether it is the g35(x) or the g37 coupe. After doing some research, I don't know any dealers in a 100 mile radius of where I live in Illinois that have any 07 g35s, but there are dealers that have a g35 coupe. Personally I'd much rather lease a coupe anyway.
As a general question, do any of you see any issues or concerns with leasing a new 2007 g35 coupe (most likely will be a car demo, but some demos are never titled so it is technically a new car. this happened with my current car lease).
Let me know as this not only puts me into a car that I want (an infiniti coupe), but also saves me money for obvious reasons.
The numbers you put down for a base g37 is actually very attractive. Considering my main priority is getting a coupe, all the other stuff is bonus and extra money I don't have to spend on. If it has it, great.
Does your base model have the (touch) screen or is that only available in the journey (and up) model? Do you have pics of the interior of your base by any chance? Based on the ~400.00 a month, this is a route I didn't consider until I saw your post. Assuming i'm lucky enough to find a dealer that has a g37 base, I would certainly like to hear how it is without the fancy "gadgets".
it includes the screen, but its not touch screen. the screen can be used to play video when the car is not moving. it comes standard with A/V jacks. so u can hook up an ipod to it as well. the touch screen is only available on car with the navi, otherwise its just a regular 7" screen. (i think). I good place to go is to check out the Infiniti website to see the difference between a base and journey is. I don't think base models come with any options or any kind. To get those, u pretty much have to move on to the journey. I went with the base for 2 reasons, the styling of the coupe and the 330hp engine. All the other stuff is great, but $400 a month fits my budget better than $450-$480 a month. At the end of the day, its still looks and sounds like a G37 so I'm happy I'll try to get some pics posted on my site of the interior soon
You're exactly right about...well, everything. The base does not give you any options and your msrp is right on with what other dealers had on their retail site. Of course, the site could be outdated and might not have any. Hopefully they'll still have the base come 2 months from now.
All I want is the screen and definitely do not want navi. If anything, I'd want the Bose audio system, but I know that's for the journey trim.
I check this board often so reply back to this post when you get your pics up. I just want to thank you for opening my mind to the possibility of getting a base model coupe. Believe it or not, I never thought of that option because I always presumed that all dealers wanted to add all the bells and whistles, but the more I think about it, it just makes more sense. With my credit rating and assuming I get a similar sell price, I'll probably end up paying 480 or so just for the base because my MF will be so darn high.
Thanks again and let me know when you got those up. It's good to show off your coupe anyway right?
Comments
Please keep in mind that this is for a BASE model of the G37.
MSRP $35665
Invoice $32858
Residual $22,468.95
Sale $32895.14
MF .0019
Doc Fee: $45
Acq Fee: $595
DMV: $278
Tire Tax: $8.75
Local Tax: 8.25%
Monthly Payment: $403.26 (tax included)
Drive-Off: $1330.01
Funny it came out even lower than the $404.90 I originally estimated.

We cannot lease a car with Infiniti without a bank fee and all of cars have a dealer fee but you can see we are selling it less than your offer price of $37,781.00. This quote is for a in stock vehicle only and must be delivered by 5/31/2008.
Was also considering the Audi A5; was told I may have a hard time finding one.
Anyone had any good deals in NJ that can share?
Thanks!
The A5 is a sweet car, but i'm not sure Audi is as aggressive with their rates as IFS is right now.
Thanks!!!
sounds like a great deal! better than anything i got so far. can you please tell me what state and dealer you are dealing with? I am in Texas and i rather buy there and have it transfered to Texas.

Thank you for the info. Here are some sample numbers:
Invoice on one of the cars is 34097.
-562.60 (VPP)
+838.36-dealer delivery fee
+765 (Destination)
=35287.76.

* 2008 Infiniti G35 Journey
* Premium Package
* Nav Package
* Exterior color [insert yours here]
* Interior color [ditto]
Could you quote me your bottom-line price on this car (if you have it in stock), and let me know what your doc/prep fees are, and if there are any dealer-installed options already on the car or other fees?
Here is the deal, 24 mo, 12k/yr with one email Monday and deal closed in a short phone call Tuesday:
Journey, Prem + Nav
MSRP = 37725
Neg. Price = 34994
Cap Cost = 34944+595 bank fee (rolled into the lease at this cheap MF)
Drive off = DMV, $45 doc fee, first month's pmt (about 850 in CA)
Pmt = 460.68+tax
MSRP $37815
Here is what Im working with now:
G35x premium, nav, cargo net, splash guards
MSRP $40180
sales price $36315 ($400 below invoice)
24 months - 15k miles
$2066 out of pocket
I used residual 70% and mf .00131 (both of which I was able to get here)
tax .08625
I added the bank fee of $595 to the sales price = $36910 and I ran the numbers in the lease calculator - which I also got here. The total monthly charge I got was $557.41 with $2066 down or $590.44 with no money down.
She offered $423 a month - given those numbers I cant see how it makes any sense unless Im going about this all wrong.
Can any of you leasing gurus offer valuable imput? Are my calculations correct? Is it a good deal? Anyone seen better?
Thank you,
Laura

Did I mention I was able to get a coupon for $150 off your best negotiated deal??
Im keeping that one in my back pocket till all is said and done! Every little bit helps!
With those numbers and the lease calculator I found at www.ridewithg.com, the numbers with nothing down would be 489.27. All the numbers include tax.
g35x w/ premium and nav. tire lock, season mats
39850
discounted to 37708
money factor .00192
residual 23349
no money down
39mos/ 15k miles
700 at signing for tax and first payment
530 per month. this seems a little weak regarding the discounted price and money factor??
Laura
I was reading your post and wanted to throw in my thoughts out there for you.
Opinions???
From what i gather, from all the information and quotes others have been getting, there seems to be additonal incentives for the 39 month G35 leases. I'm not sure what that added incentive is, but i'm sure most dealers won't quickly release that information.
Sweet G37 enjoy...
MSRP 42,595
Cap Cost (no fees or reductions): 38,822
Residual 0.63
Res Value: 26834.85
MF 0.00192
Term 36 MO
12k Miles/yr
Base Monthly Payment: 459.04
Base Monthly with Tax: 496.91
Due at signing:
400 for Title and Reg (seems a bit high for California)
55 DMV Doc
Tire Fee 9.75
Bank Fee 575
First Months Payment: 496.91
Total Drive Off: 1,536
What do you guys think? That Title Fee looks a bit steep.
Also, re your comment about "flying" and then driving back. I think this is an invalid option because states require you to have the state license you will be bringing it to. So basically, the only positive you can get out of flying and driving back is the cost of the car and that obviously offsets plane/road trip costs.
Either way, thanks for how you communicated to the dealers.
So if your local dealers will not give you a good price, then expand your search until you find a dealer that will give you a nice price. The savings could be worth the travel.

MSRP: 38915.00 (includes dest fee)
Invoice : 35649.00
24 month - 15k/year - residual = 70%, money factor = .00131
NJ Tax- 7%
Hoping since it almost the last day of the month to get it at invoice.
Residual - 28578.00
Total of all payments: 9726.00
405.27 per month including taxes
Fees to be paid up front - 1st month, acq of 595 + Doc fees/DMV fees/tire tax and some other tax??
Does this sound right?
The other alternative with same 24/15k would be g35x with sport/premium/navi and the figures I came up for that are:
MSRP - 41065.00
Invoice - 37502.00
Residual - 28575.00
Total of payments - 11772.00
Monthly inclusive of 7% tax - 490.49
First month/acq/doc/dmv/tire/tax
Depending on what they have in stock I would take either, but my main concern is that I have done my homework correctly on MSRP/Invoice and calculated the figures.
Thanks for any help and wish me good luck.
MSRP - $38,425
Negotiated price - $34,611
Maryland sales tax - $2,136

Residual - 62% (36 month @ 12,000 miles per year)
Money factor - .00150
Monthly payment - $475
To benchmark the deal you were offered, if I had paid tax, tags and acq fee at the time of signing the lease, my payment would have been $387.
I can't thank everyone (especially Car_man) in this forum enough for providing such relevant information. I have been monitoring this message board for some time and I felt confident and in control of the negotiation with the dealer.

What do you think?
I know the residual is %62 and the mf is .00150, my credit is around 710, but my dads is around 750 so he could easily qualify for teir 1 etc.
Im in So cal so would I have to pay the taxes on the whole car upfront as i saw CAGORM had his up front.
thanks in advance!!!!!

Thanks for your help.
Let me know, thanks.

I am in Florida. I dealt with Wayne at Coast Infiniti in Sarasota. The phone number is 941-924-1211. Good Luck
Thanks.
At the end of the day, its still looks and sounds like a G37 so I'm happy
I'll try to get some pics posted on my site of the interior soon
thanks you got a great deal!
Can you please post the June Res. and MF for G35x 24 & 36 months 12k miles. Any difference in numbers for navigation?
Thanks
Trying to decide between G35x and Honda Accord Coupe.
gperr
