Hello JChalm. Here's the information that you're looking for. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a base 2009 G37 Sedan with 10,000 miles per year are .00113 and 56%, respectively.

Hi cbat1. To the best of my knowledge, Infiniti has not published a lease program for the 2010 G37 yet. I will provide you with the numbers for the 2009 version of the car that you mentioned for now and I'll make some calls to see if I can find out what the story is with the 2010 model.

Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 G37x Sedan with 12,000 miles per year are .00105 and 56%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00125 and 55%.

If you were to lease this car with only 10,000 miles per year, its residuals would be 1% higher.

Hi kuku5354. I personally would pass on both of the items that you mentioned. I always perform the bare minimum maintenance on my leased vehicles, change the oil and rotate the tires regularly. That's it. You don't own the car and banks don't force you to perform any maintenance over and above that so why waste the money.

The dent coverage is a different issue. I personally have never had a problem with excess wear and tear on my leased vehicles, however one never knows what will happen. If you are risk averse and would enjoy the peace of mind that having the dent coverage would provide you with then you may want to consider getting it. Again, I personally would pass.

Hi hollandog. Here's the info that you're looking for.

Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 G37x Sedan with 10,000 miles per year are .00105 and 57%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of an '09 G37x Coupe are .00176 and 62%.

Infiniti is currently offering a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of the Coupe, but nothing on the Sedan.

    Hi Car_man,

    Thank you for the numbers.
I got offers from the 3 dealers that they will sell me (lease) the car at invoice.

The car is Black with Graphite interior Prem Pkg, Navigation, splash guards and cargo net G37X AWD Sedan.

The car should have a MSRP of $41,325 and according to Edmunds, the invoice should be $37,954. But one of the dealer told me that their invoice price is $38,284.

Which invoice number should I go for?

    Thanks.

After further research. I understand what's the extra now and the dealer's actual cost.

    Car_Man:

Do you have the November lease rates on a 2009 G37Journey package for 12,000 miles? Also, do you know if Infinity allows you to calculate the residual on the premium and/or tech packages? Finally, do you think I should be able to get invoice pricing n this car? Thanks for your help. Craig
  • nyca2000nyca2000 Member Posts: 7
What was the difference due to? I also was quoted a dealer invoice price which was about $250 above edmunds invoice price. Would like to know what you found out.
  • hollandoghollandog Member Posts: 36
The difference could be dealer's advertisement fee and the administrative fees.
The amount varies from dealer to dealer.

I just got the G today.
They showed me their invoice. There was something called Warranty Recovery fee or something like that for $205. But the dealer agreed to take it off their invoice.

So I got my G for the factory invoice price.

PS. Please contact me if you have a code for the AMEX gift card reward.

    Car_man,

Do you know the November MF and Residuals for 2009 G37 coupe Journey for 36/12K for a tier 3 or tier 4 customer? The dealer I got quote from told me that i have very strong credit (790), but my girl friend (co-signer) has a bad credit, so we are not qualified for the tier 1 MF, only tier 3 or tire 4, which is between .00450 - .0053.

I am leasing this car for her, at the same time we hope this will help her to fix her credit, that's why her name has to be on the lease. But, the MF is to high, can you please verify Infiniti Nov MF for tier 3 and tier 4. Thanks

    One more question.
We are currently looking at a 2009 Copue Journey with Premium, sticker price $41235, invoice $37927. The dealer told us there is $3k incentive, so should I shoot for $34927 or even lower?

    Car Man,

Do you know the MF and Residuals for a '09 G37X for a 36mo / 15k mi lease? Any help you can provide would be fantastic!

    Thanks,

    Adam

People that bought/leased in July & August were sent the code. Chances are slim and none that anyone on this forum from that time still has not redeemed their code.

I'm new to leasing. Does anyone know whether the $2500 marketing support can be applied in some way in calculating a lease? The dealer says it can only be used in a purchase/finance.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
Spend 15 minutes looking through old posts and you will see it has been asked and answered several times a week. No you cannot use the $2500 with a lease.

Yes they can use it. Right now marketing support is $3,000. They say they can not but dealers use it to reduce price to you. I just got the $3,000 off plus $1,500 for sale or lease incentive. Picking my coupe up Thursday

    The Deal
    MSRP 40,775
    Cap Cost 36,210
    Out of Pocket $2,000
    39 months 10,000 miles
    Payment $445 includes 6 1/2% tax
Dealer Made my last payment of $500 on last lease His inception costs were $2,486. Down here in FL all dealers charge outrageous dealer fee's ( pure profit ).
    Money Factor .000161
    Residual 58%
  • hollandoghollandog Member Posts: 36
    My deal,

    MSRP $41380
    Factory Invoice $37986
    Cap Cost $37994
    Residual Value 56%
    MF % 0.00125
    39 months
    10,000 miles/yr

    Monthly $456

Due at sign ~$2700 including 8.875% tax up front, 1st month payment, $595 bank fee, $75 doc fee and ~$80 DMV plate transfer fee.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
They cannot use the marketing support for a lease. Your numbers prove it. Your cap cost of 36,210 - $500 (you paid the $500, he didn't) = $35,710. Invoice of that car is around $37,500. So you got the car for around $1800 under invoice. You stated that there was $1500 incentives so that explains $1500 of the $1800. A dealer selling you are car for under $300 isn't that out of line. So you did not get the $3000 marketing cash.

Why put so much money down on a lease? Just roll it into the lease payment.

I'm in the Dallas area and been looking to lease a G37 with Navigation, Sport and Premium, packages. The invoice price is right at $38,105 depending on a few minor options such as mud flaps, alarm, trunk mat, etc. Thus far, I have not found anyone willing to do the lease at invoice, certainly not under invoice. I know the $2,500 in not available on leases, but with the 2010s coming out next month, I would think the dealerships would want to work a little on the price to get rid of the 2009s. If not, I would rather wait for the 2010, it will have a higher residual anyway. Anyone have any suggestions for the Dallas area? Thanks.

Is the cap cost reduction of $ 36,210 includes MSRP of $40,775 minus $ 2000 out of pocket + dealer discount ?

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but it looks like lots of useful comments are made. I want to buy/lease an 09 G37 Journey with Premium package, I've done the research on Edmunds True Market Value, the holdback, and I am aware of the $2500 marketing support from factory to dealer. Any suggestions on how I can go in to negotiate? I am a 26 year old woman, so I always get the bs at first about them doing me favors, giving me car at invoice, costco program, blah blah blah. Any tactics or ways of presenting myself? Thank you for any help and all your comments!
  • hollandoghollandog Member Posts: 36
When I was negotiating with BMW dealers, I get quote from varies local dealers and have them beat each other's price.

You can email or phone. After they confirmed the car w/ options you want, you can tell them I got this xxx offer from xxx dealer. Can you do better than this?

I managed to get a deal with invoice price + $300 for a new 2010 328xi but I opted for a G37x in the end.

It was even simpler for the 09 G37x because the 2010 is coming out soon.
I just sent an email to a couple local dealers and asked them if they can sell me the car at factory invoice (lease, no incentives at all for sedan), I will save some trips to different dealers and take the car on that day.

I took the first dealer who accepted the offer which was pretty painless.

If you're purchasing, offer them a price of factory invoice - $2500.
-$3500 if you qualify for the loyalty rebate.

Shouldn't be hard for a 09 model now.

I don't think you can get the 1000 loyalty rebate. It's for lease only.

    Car Man,

I'm looking for residual and MF for Infiniti G37 Coupe AWD.
Dealer is giving me following information:
    36 Month
    10K
    $505 month including TAX
1310 Out of pocket payment (not a down payment)
Buy out at the end of the lease $27,792 (not sure why i need it, i guess to calculate residual)
Premium Package and Navigation MSRP $44825.
am I getting a good deal or not? please let me know.

    thank you
    Ildar
  • hollandoghollandog Member Posts: 36
The RV is 62% and the MF should be 0.00176 for November.

You should also ask for the selling price and see how much is it under/over the invoice.

Thanks to all who post. I just drove home a G37X with Premium and Navigation from Infiniti of Lisle outside Chicago:

    Sticker Price $41,380
    Selling price $37,380
    Residual 56%
    10,000 miles per year

Lease amount $445/month before taxes (this included $1000 loyalty)
  • cluedweaselcluedweasel Member Posts: 150
Without the selling price and your tax rate, it's not really possible to tell. Assuming a tax rate of 6% and reverse engineering your payment, it looks like a selling price of about $40600.
  • hollandoghollandog Member Posts: 36

I got the same car for $37994 leased 2 weeks ago.

Legacy Infinity in Lynbrook LI. Great dealership and great people to deal with and absolutely no pressure before or after the sale. I live in manhattan but it was worth driving 20miles to get the car from them and avoid some of the dealers closer to me. Would highly recommend this dealership.

Yes you are correct. The MF was .00125. Here are the details on my lease:

    Selling Price 37690
    MF .00125
    CC 3000

    Hello cluedweasel and all members,

You are actually very close to a selling price. May be you are my dealer??? :-)
I just got it today and not sure if this is a good deal or not. I hope some one can help me here.
Here is a deal I'm being offered.
    G37 AWD Coupe, Premium, Navigation
    10K, 36 month
    1. Out of Pocket: $1110 + DMV fees. (no money down)
    2. MF 0.00176
    3. Resd. 62%
    4. MSRP $44825 (not sure why, I think this should be $44765=$38700 + prem package $3000 + Nav package $2200 + $825 destination fee) am I correct?
    5. Selling price $40400 (according to dealer $1500 insensitive applied)
    6. TAX 8% ? (I leave in NJ but but shopping in NYC, not sure which TaX rate to apply).
lease price is $505 Tax included.
i think i can do better than that for 2009 Car what do you guys think?

thank you for you reply in advance.
