The difference is that you'll get the MSD money back at the end of the lease.

The down payment money would not be refunded; you would be using that to effectively prepay some of the lease payment

Would you give up $3900 to prepay a lease on an apartment?

well no, but with the down the monthly payment is lower by abt 50 bux and I am paying 1824 more with msds. if I calculated it, 3899-1824=2075 to drive with downplay.

So.... the MSD quote is $2075 cheaper in the long run, because all of the MSDs come back to you at lease end.

12K/yr.. Add 1% for 10K/yr
SUV: .00140 MF and 63%/55% residual for 24/36 months
Coupe: .00070 MF and 58%/51% residual for 24/36 months

Each SD is the monthly payment rounded up to the next $50 increment.
So, if your payment is $835/mo, each SD would be $850 for a total of $8500 for 10 MSDs

The MSD route is always the best option. And, it looks like you were able to get a little bit more of a discount on the MF.

This is a VERY helpful thread, so my thanks for all the info in it so far!

A few questions for a 2018 GLC43W4:

1) Current MF/resid on a 36/7.5K and 36/10K

2) What is the MF on a Single-Pay Option? (I have other ways of financing the payment with a far better rate if the MF is still .00140)

3) Is Mercedes flexible in lease mileage options, or is it pretty much 7.5/10/12/etc.? An 8.5K would be perfect. What is the overage fee per mile?

I just answered your post in the other thread you posted in. Let's let that one go and address your questions in this thread, shall we?

You should get the buy rate - tell them you won't sign a deal without it.

Then, start shopping other dealers. These aren't that rare.

What is the current MF and Residual on a GLC300W4 and GLC43W4 36/10K for 20814? I have been reading these forums and the quote I got last night seems nutz. The dealership in the area has a monopoly and it is an expensive area but these seem crazy.

The best deal so far lists the MF and residual for the GLC 300 Coupe at 55% and .0009 ($795mo)? Does this seem right? I've gotten other quotes of .00139/59% for the GLC 300 coupe and .00070/52% for the GLC43 coupe. Can you please confirm the MF and residual for 2018 GLC 300 Coupe and 2018 GLC 43 Coupe in MD?
