Ok then if Car_man is not on this discussion board ARE YOU the man?
If so seems like lots of people including myself are looking for some help. Also it appears that there are lots of LEASE questions here rather than on the leasing board?

But, if you have specific questions about lease programs for a specific model, then there are Lease Questions forums for each model, and Car_man monitors those boards, as he has those confidential numbers.

You are correct in I could get the same deal on the basic automatic. The problem is that I feel that it's very important to have a car with Blue Tooth. The only way to get Blue Tooth is to have the Nav. and then if the car has a nav it also has other options included. Also they have very few 250's with the Nav but, lots of the Basic. So they have not been as aggressive in pricing on the Nav car. Actually I have had better offers from three other dealers, just haven't had the time to go yet. Being this is the last week of the month it's probably the right time to really look.
Thanks.
Just leased an IS 250 in December. After driving 2300 miles, the transmission on the car has fried. And now the car is sitting at the dealership awaiting the mighty parts. I just wanted all you guys to be informed of this issue as leasing may be a better option on this car rather than buying. I certainly feel lucky as this is a leased car and I do have a loaner car to drive.
Good LUCK.....
looks like you have not tuned into this forum since March 6th?
I did end up leasing an IS250 with the 24 month special rate. However the dealer which is THE LARGEST in FLORIDA, said that the best Lexus was offering was at .00050. I know that that is still a great Money Factor but not quite the .00020.
I figured about $20 a month difference on the lease. So does the dealer have to offer the published rate or it in their hands to decide, and my choice would have been to just go to another dealer. ( I know that it was not due to my rating as I know that I qualify for the best that is offered.

A dealer has qouted me $33K (says $750 under invoice) + ttl. (equal to about $ 36000, incl 8.25% tax) .
MSRP is $ 38200.
Hows the deal? What would be a good deal?

You are right I thought I was on the Lease questions :confuse:
Anyway I copied to that forum and noticed the host has not responded there for awhile?
I'm about to start walking into dealerships and begin negotiating a lease for an IS350. I want the IS350 with Obsidian/Graphite interior, NAV and luxury package. I'm looking for a 3 yr/15,000 per lease and no money up front (except for tax/title/fees). Just curious to know what deals others are getting so I have an idea before I walk into the lion's den.
Thanks alot!
Actually now the lowest I have is $32777 + ttl.
I guess its a good price? same as what you've paid.. !
So which is a good dealer to go to in south bay area for service and all ?
My options are Steven's Creek, Magnussens, Pleasanton and Oakland..
MSRP : $ 38314
Invoice Price: $ 33877
My Price: $ 32477 (THATS $1400 UNDER INVOICE).
OTD Price was exactly $35500. Arranged my own finance through my credit union.
Plus FREE all weather floor mats.
I went to Lexus of Stevens Creek in San Jose. The entire process was very smooth. The car was in excellent condition.. had arrived just 8 days ago at the dealership. Had only 10 miles on it. (So I knew no rough test drives on it).
And... so far.. I love the car.. its awesome !!!
Thanks

These deals sound too good to be true. Are there any big dealer incentives running right now? Should I be shooting for $1k under invoice?
not a good deal it's a GREAT DEAL
and it sounds like they didn't hit you up for the $700 "Dealer Fee" that it would make it an unbelievable deal.
So be Very Happy
could you tell me that ur car is 2008 or 2007?
thank you very much
Money factor =
Residual value =
Approximately how much over invoice I should expect =
After a bit of renegotiation here is where I am with the dealer.
Money factor = .00255 (I think this is still WAY to high)
Residual value = 55% (this is with 10K miles, I think I should get 55% with 12k miles)
Price = MSRP = $40,399 My Price = $37,315
Monthly cost = $601.43, with NC tax payment would be 619.47. I think I can do much better.
I'm wondering the same thing, though I haven't seriously looked into it yet. I stopped into the Greenwich CT dealer a few weeks ago and test drove the IS250 AWD. My only complaint was relatively lack of power for a sports sedan, especially acceleration from a stop. So it occurred to me that I may prefer the IS250 RWD. No AWD = less weight. Less weight = more power and better fuel efficiency. No AWD also = less expensive car = lower monthly payment. Buy a set of winter tires for a fraction of the cost of AWD and do the tire changeover thing twice per year. The salesman was bewildered by what I had in mind. He said, um, we basically only get this car in AWD because that is the way our customers want it. It was then I realized for sure that I had left the BMW dealership and entered a Lexus dealership. The Lexus salesman could not relate to the sports sedan mentality of preferring RWD. I didn't push it. I figure if I really want this car they could do a swap with a warm weather dealer. Ordering a car seemed to be a totally foreign concept to the Lexus salesman. Another big difference from BMW.
