Okay that's what I was thinking. Another lady spoke with me today and asked if I had any questions about what the first lady and I had spoke about yesterday. Got some numbers but no worksheet. Basically gave me residual (59) MF (1.3) but I already know that from here. Shouldnt they willingly give me more than that? Havent even got a price for the vehicle yet lol

Also last question, any wiggle room for accessories? Like drop in liner or wheel well liners to be thrown in or are we pretty much done where we stand? Thanks again! Sorry, no info on the private offer.

Accessories are accessories.. the time to ask for them is when you are happy with the price, but they don't that..

My leasing company (who I've leased with the last 6 years) is telling me it'll be upwards of 800-850 for a Lariat that he estimated would have a capitalized cost of around 57-58k, and 900 or more a month on a platinum.  These sound super high to me..

I believe the msrp on the Lariat was around 63-65 which he said with incentives should be down to 57'ish.  Didn't get msrp for the platinum he just shot numbers from the hip based on what he estimated the Lariat to come out at.   Supposedly, he states I would be coming out of my current lease even and not bringing any of that money over but I'm just not seeing that..

I could see 650-700 for the Lariat just not the 8-850, with no money down outside of maybe first months payment.

$2000 difference in the MSRP translates to almost $60/mo.

Is your broker able to be more transparent with the numbers? Hard to give decent feedback when we are guessing at them.

And, with any third party bank, there is no way for us to know if the MF has been marked up - either by the CU or the broker - for extra profit.

Any particular reason you don't want to deal with the Ford dealer directly?

I don't know why it is, but your observations are accurate. Seems the Pittsburgh/Cleveland region has the best APRs (residuals are the same everywhere).

I'd guess you could get those deals up there, but not sure how easy it would be to shop Ford dealers, long distance.

No other bank is going to beat Ford Credit's terms, I don't think.

It appears I'm the only guy on the planet who is interested in a regular cab XL 2WD (with the rare package of black vinyl flooring, ......that's how they ALL used to come, they were called pickup trucks. .). Zip 33607, 2.7L engine.

Interested in MF and residuals for 36/12 and 36/19.5 (or whatever the highest standard mileage option is). Would you have information on what the rate is if you wanted to pre-buy additional miles? I may run the lease through my business, and then buy this worn out sucker at the end, so a lower residual isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I am helping a family friend lease a new truck since he doesn't deal with car dealerships well.

He is looking at a 2018 F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 with the Chrome Package and 2.7 Ecoboost. The sticker MSRP is $47,260.

He is looking to lease or 36/10,500 or 36/12,000.

What should I look for MF and residual numbers? We are in zip code 16063.

What would you consider a "good cap cost" on something like this?

Ford might be weird with residuals. Sometimes, we've seen them use the pre-discounted MSRP (which would be good), but there doesn't seem to be a pattern that we can detect.


All of FL has the same lease programs, as far as we can see. There are different markets, but we haven't seen any variance.
