    Hi. Very new to leasing but getting the basics. Looking at Imprezas in NYC. What is the MF/RV for the Impreza 4 door basic, premium, and limited - automatic? Trying to understand what is the deal when it comes to RV. Also looking to do no money down, have excellent credit. Seems like 36mo is the best way to go. Would look for 10K mile

    That is the dealer trying to make some extra profit off you. The .00050 represents the maximum markup over the base MF allowed by Subaru.

    We don't have that information. If the dealer tries to submit a contract with a MF too high, the contract will be rejected and returned to the dealer.

    Thank you. The contract was for MF of .001875 on March 22. Very much exceeding the cap limit with Tier 1 credit and hasn’t been rejected yet. Guess I will need to contact my lender and take it from there.

    Another explanation is that they aren't using Subaru Motor Finance as the bank for their lease. If that is the case, we don't have those numbers to confirm if they are marking up the MF or not.

    OK, let's reset. The numbers last month were 57% and .00075 for 36/15. Max .00050 markup takes us to .00125.

    However, there is a .00050 markup for tier 3 credit, which now results in a .00175 MF

    MF is only a 5 decimal place number, so I'm questioning the .001875 number you quote.

    Credit score is 810 they told me. Msrp is $27646. Adjusted cap is $23842.46. RV is $15758.22. MF is listed as total for 36 months as $1781.92 which breaks down to $49.49778 MF. Any other numbers you need to double check me? 36 months 15 k year lease.

    Yeah, those sneaky dealers will do just about anything to put their hand in your pocket and remove money from it.

    When your lease is up, you'll be better equipped to know what to look for next time.

    do you have the rates for lower credit tiers? I've done enough leases to know what traps to look for, but never done a deal without top tier rates. is it much more expensive for lower tiers? Just trying to look out for MF markups, as dealers usually take advantage of lower tier buyers. Not sure of exact score, but its on the lower end, probably 600-650. Are there other things to look out for specifically regarding a lower tier other than MF markup?

    base model, both 4 and 5 door. I am in NY. 36/10.

    Selling Price: $22671
    Residual: 64 or 67?
    MF: .0011 or .0007?

    Been getting conflicting responses on MF and Residual, any help would be appreciated. Does eyesight improve residual value? Does changing term improve MF or RV?

    New programs out this morning.

    Which trim? Base, limited, premium or Sport?
    Stick or CVT?

    Residuals are fixed, but money factor can be marked up by the dealer.
    Eyesight package does not affect the lease variables.
