Car prices are negotiable for leasing, just like a purchase. So, we can't tell you what the payment will be.

I'd be very wary of leasing, without a clear understanding of the contract you are signing.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost used for their payment quote, and a detailed breakdown of how they got there from the selling price.

Why is the cap cost lower than the selling price? I thought you were only paying first payment and fees up front?

Fees won't lower the cap cost - that is down payment or cap reduction.

Either way, we always recommend you limit your up front out of pocket to just the first payment and registration costs. Anything else (acquisition fee, dealer doc fee) should be rolled into the cap cost and made part of the monthly payment.

Yes - you need to find out the payoff value and the trade value of the 300. Call your lease bank for the first number, and check with CarMax for the trade value. You will likely be upside down, so you will either have to pay that money out of pocket, or add the negative equity into the new lease.

Or, you can wait 30 days, make the last payment, turn the car in free and clear, and start over with the Tahoe lease.

I know which direction I'd head.
