We think it is max 9 MSDs, each of which lower the MF by .00008

No, that MF is for top tier credit.

However, you may want to raise the issue of Multiple Security Deposits. You can "buy down" the MF by giving TFS money up front, which will be returned to you at the end of the lease.

Be advised, not many Toyota dealers are familiar with this.

Don't know the scores, but I believe anything over 700 secures the top tier MF.

Thanks for the quick response! At a msrp of $45,049 (hoping to get a little discount) and $5k down, I calculated a 36/12 at roughly $482. If I do not get quoted this from the dealer what hidden fees should I keep a look out for? Or what factors can change this payment?

We do not recommend down payment on a lease; just first payment and any DMV costs.

The only variables in a lease are the MF and the selling price / cap cost.

If the car is stolen or totaled during the lease, you lose that up front money.

The whole point of a lease is to pay as you go.

And, if your strategy is to keep the car, why not buy it from the get go? You'll skip some of the lease only charges, and when you go to buy it at the end of the lease, you'll pay sales tax again and you'll finance with a used car interest rate.

With the prices provided, I get $578/mo (tax included). Assumes all fees are paid up front.

Not a big fan of longer leases; you'll be out of warranty, and you are likely to have to replace consumable items like tires and brakes.
