Adding $6000 for tax, acquisition, doc and DMV fees (adjusted CAP of $81000)
$1214/mo, with first payment due at signing.

Maryland taxes the full selling price, which doesn't help.

msrp 71,600
selling price 64750
residual of 40809.15
taxes and fees about 1500 bucks (trade in in texas covers most of the value and therefore taxes are low)

trade is upside down 15 K (please don't ask) which I'm covering with a 15 k down payment to not roll over negative equity. with just the 15 k down to cover the negative equity and nothing else paid up front, can you calculate roughly what my payment should be or do you need more information?
I'm being quoted 981.06 a month they didn't disclose the MF, just wanted to see if this mf was increased to offset the lower selling price.

which isn’t prime as you show me above. Does that make up the gap? I figured they raised the mf on me.
how can I show them I know about this. I.e. Are these numbers public knowledge?

The lease numbers are confidential. But, if you can surf the internet, they aren't too hard to find out. Most BMW dealers mark up the rate. .00206 was the maximum markup, last month. For October, they can go up to .00222.

Yes.. the money factor markup would make up the difference.

The calculations are correct.

7% off is generally a fair deal, but this late in the model year, I might push for more.
All of the other numbers are normal for CA.
