Drive carefully!
My out of pocket was $2,000 at the time of delivery, and $258 plus sales tax (x29).
I'm sure that is not bad.
Therefore, I suggested three options to the dealership to sign on the revised lease contract, which 'Deposition Fee($400)' was added and excess mileage charge changed $0.02 per mile.
(Option A): Cash of $500.
(Option
(Option C): Free oil change every 6 months & install Hyundai Nuvi 360 navigation.
I'll keep you posted.
P.S. Please understand I am not disclosing dealership name until things get fully resolved.
The ball is in your corner. They do not want a "used" car back, that they cannot sell as new.
From what you post, the only existing contract is the one that you and your dealer signed, without a disposition fee, and at the lower extra milage fee. This was the instrument in place upon which you took delivery.
Hang tough!
As far as the tires go, they were indeed over-inflated. Since I knew from this forum that this was likely to happen, the first thing I did was to check the pressure. They were all inflated at 36 psi, compared to the recommended 30 psi; I checked them cold as recommended.
I also requested that the auto door lock feature be undone. We weren't comfortable with this feature.
As for the steering wheel, I'm not to worried about the lamination coming off. I am confident this dealer will make it right.
So far, I have not noticed any clunk, or anything out of the ordinary. And we are totally enjoying the car. Best car I have ever owned.
All of my friends are very impressed. One friend has announced to me and co-workers that he is going to buy an Azera.
And if I can still find an 06, what kinda price could I expect on that?
Thanks!
Good choice.
I think that you will enjoy the extra features of the Limited.

Great price!
I paid almost 5 grand more in Dec. 05.
as for the leather seats in the sun
I've only had the car since December and it's been very cold here in New Jersey
Sides and back included, it will run me only $140 to have it done, with lifetime guarantee and the best non-metallic tint. Metallic, while great, can interfere with your radio by blocking signal. Regular price would be $220.
There is a dealer in Southern California that quoted me $26,995 for a car with an MSRP of $30,545.
A Limited with the Ultimate Package and Powder White Pearl paint.
Never followed through because I didn't have the funds to pay cash.
I have had several cars with metallic paint, and the new processes and paint matching computers that most newer shops are using make the matching and painting easy. Usually white and black are the most difficult colors to match and maintain the matching over long periods of time.
The dealership called me and offered $400 check for the disposition fee.
I accepted it.
I also changed mileage to 15K miles per year. Therefore,
- 2007 Azera Limited with Ultimate package
- 30 month, 15K mile/year
- $1,600 out-the-door payment (including tax, title..after royalty rebate & disposition fee reimbursement from dealer)
- $300.78 per month (including 7.75% tax)
I wonder if, at the lease's expiration, you like the car enough to consider keeping it, they might come down a bit from the current residual value estimate in hopes of making a sale...
I received a written quote from a "fleet" person located here in Southerna california for the identical same
car (even the color) for $26,995 (MSRP of $30,545) which is exactly $3,550 off, so it would seem
like the verbal quote you received from whomever in whereever is indeed a good one. :surprise:
Send me an email, and I will forward to you this fleet guys' written email that he sent to me.
HTHs
Some cars I saw at the dealership were built much earlier than that, and they all were 2007 models.
One way to tell for sure:
Check out the tenth character of the VIN.
If it is a "6" it is a 2006.
If it is a "7" it is a 2007.
Simple enough.
East coast it is multi-brand. I don't know if the decision here was that of FUCCILLO or Hyundai, but my letter inform me to seek service "elsewhere" until a replacement dealer is appointed in my area.
F.Y.I.
At times I wish I had gotten the Ultimate, but after reading that the seat memory doesn't work unless the car is turned on, I guess I can do without it.
thanks

I sent emails to almost all of the dealers within a 100 radius of Murrieta and my best reply was for $26,995.
Thanks for the information. :surprise:
The bad is the salesperson ignorance - a common Hyundai complaint on these threads. I sent the cutie sales persons a copy of a forum post where a guy tried to get the Limp Home code and called his dealer staff a bunch of idiots when they said the 07 did not have that feature. I said I wanted to give them a heads up so they could have that code for me when I came in. I am sure they did not even read my email as I still don't have the code - they had no idea what I was talking about. They sent the service guy to download the code but when we left he was still working on it. The plot thickens.
The lady salesperson had to call over a guy salesperson to show us how all the gadgets worked and I guess gadgets are kind of a guy thing. I asked what the engine break in period and the recommended driving scenario was. She said she did not think there was a break in period. Well, I bought my last car in 01 so that made me old fashioned. I took it easy and varied the speed on the way home anyway but they told be to leave the car running while he demonstrated the gadgets. Took about 10 minutes.
Break in is on page 1-3 (55 mph max for the first 1200 miles and max 3 minute idle) and Limp Home is on page 1-6 of the owners manual which they obviously had never opened. I scanned the pages and emailed them last night. I requested they email me the key sequence for Limp Home. Since they are all I have - I will have to do business with them or go to the known crooked dealer in San Antonio - I suggested they were simply lazy and disinterested in their customers.
The service guy was very nice and actually called me this morning with the information I needed while I was writing this post. He admitted this was the first he had heard of the Limp Home but assured me everyone would now know. I specify the 4 digit code and next time the car is in for service they will download it to the car.
