Dealer let me know that this offer is still on the table. What’re your thoughts? I’ve attached the lease sheet below. Reason I haven’t signed is because the dealer is adamant about not removing the $599 MNM Value Pack, which is a dealer “option” of nitrogen in the tires, door edge guards, and some leather care thing. My target price is $300/ month tax in.

Try not to argue about worthless items. If you think the total price is too high, then just offer less. The more you explain why, the more arguments you endure from the salesperson. They are professionals at negotiation.
If you want $300/mo with $660 due at signing, then just tell them that is what it will take.

To get the price under $300/mo, you'll need to lop off about $3000 from the selling price. Not likely to have that happen.

Have not heard about the shortage, but there was an earthquake / tsunami a month or so ago that affected some of the plants in Japan.

It's not total BS. Mazda did lose 44,000 units of output due to the floods.

That of course does not automatically make a CX-5 more valuable vs. the competition which didn't have a production slowdown. And it doesn't change the fact that 2019 CX-5 production has started which means 2019s on dealer lots next month. Shopping multiple dealers is always a good plan. You're bound to find one that needs to move some metal.
