"Lease Specials" are just advertisements. Until you get the actual numbers from the dealer, it's not an offer.

Can you please tell me if seems to be a good deal. 2018 cx5 grand touring Msrp $32120 they claim my cost $30145. Tax is rolled into payment of $374.70 for 36/10000. The down payment is $650 which is 1st month and DMV cost. I live in ny 11735. Thanks for your help.

$595 acq.fee
$75 doc fee
$1100 tax (estimated)
= $31,915

That's about $500 off..
Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and the money factor (which the dealer can markup).

Other than the missing $500 (which might have an explanation), the deal looks about average for a CX-5.

The number you really want from the dealer is the adjusted CAP cost, which is the selling price plus all the fees and taxes you aren't paying up front.

If your "cap cost" is the actual adjusted CAP cost, I'd say they are marking up the money factor to .00051.

Have you seen any of these numbers on an actual lease contract or computer screenshot?

They may have rolled the acquisition fee into the adjusted CAP cost, but if so, they didn't disclose that.
Not sure what the tax amount is about. You might have a little upfront tax in MA on the rebate and doc fee, but the payment is taxed, not tax paid upfront. Need to find out what the $611 amount is for.

If $24,000 was the actual adjusted CAP cost, the payment would be:
$262.35+tax (6.25%?) = $278.75

To wrap it up:

1) Where is the $595 acquisition fee?
2) If it's in the CAP cost, then what is the actual adjusted CAP cost?
3) What is the charge for $611 tax? It's obviously part of your upfront, and it can't be all tax.

Looks like they dropped the price by $201. And, the payment math is now correct.
It looks like the acquisition fee is included in your $1120 of upfront fees, which actually add up, now.

$259/mo. with $1120+$259 due at signing. That looks pretty good.
