Ok so its Money Factor × Total Cap Cost + Residual = Rent charge so approximately 5.85 right?
    .0001 * (35700 + 22840) = 5.58399

Whoops. My bad. I used the wrong MF.

I get $5.85/mo for the rent charge
Thanks for correcting my math correcting yours LOL. I appreciate the dialogue and sincerely appreciate the help. I think we got a decent deal. Now if they can just get the same model in black interior, the mrs will be pleased.

May I please have the RV/MF for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD and Limited FWD 36/12K and 24/12k for Southern California (zip 92101). Any incentives, including conquest from other manufacturer's leases?

    Hi,
I'm currently in a lease with my 2016 VW GTI SE and have 4 payments left on my lease. I got quoted 300/month with 1500 down for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus 4x4 with v6, comfort and convenience package, cold weather package, and sunroof and taking care of my last 4 payments. Would this be a good deal?

    What is the MSRP?
Selling price or adjusted CAP cost?

Why not wait for four months, and get a better deal, where they don't have to cover the payments?

    MSRP $34520
And they currently have incentives now till the end of the month. And would it matter whether I waited 4 months and go over my mileage or just do it now and save on over mileage or no? I just need the best advice lol

    The deal looks pretty good.
But, there are almost always incentives "until the end of the month". Then, next month, new incentives.

But, how are they taking care of your current lease? Are they taking the car in trade, and paying it off? Or, are they cutting you a check, and you have to deal with turn-in?

Cutting me a check for last 4 payments and I'd have to deal with turn-in. He just told me it would be $1500 down plus first month payment of 300 plus 410 for registration. Taxes already included. I'm lost on what to do lol

So, if you cut a tire or get a parking lot dent, you'd be on the hook for the costs?

I'm with my co-host here; ride out the current lease, then shop for the Cherokee at that time.

That leaves you open to possible issues with turning in your other car early. Even though you make all the payments, early lease termination can bring extra charges. I wouldn't do this, unless the dealer is taking your car in trade.

    - I think $3k is the total amount due at signing, but I'm not sure. That's what the sales guy said, i.e. that the fees under "Amount Due at Lease Signing" (Cap reduction, License Fees, Doc Fee, etc) are rolled into the monthly payments.
    - Yes, the selling price is the price after all incentives and rebates.
I managed to get the 2nd one down a bit to $300 so we're talking about $331 tax incl. (WA). Or $417 with $0 down.
What do you think? is this a good deal?

    MSRP: $41,510

I tried putting together a spreadsheet to do the calculations and I thought it would be about $425/mo for 3k down, ~$510 for $0 down.

Yes, those are good prices, especially for WA, where taxes and fees are high.
But if I go to something like the leasehackr calculator and plug in the values, the payments are much lower. For the 2nd deal (38745 MSRP, 31671 selling price for a Trailhawk) it comes to around $219 pre-tax (instead of $300 the dealer quoted) with 0.00006 MF and 56% RES.

I think I might be missing something here?
Are all dealers using the same loaning institutions with the same MF?

Also got this from another dealership today:
Trailhawk Elite, MSRP 44585, Selling price 36820
And somehow the monthly payment with $3k down came to $348 pre-tax. Should be $296 according to leasehackr.

What should I do? are the leasehackr figures even possible, and how should I go about negotiating to reach them?

    Thanks!

Can't help you debug the leasehackr calculator.

If I plug in your Trailhawk prices into my home built calculator, I get $280/mo, plus tax, assuming taxes and fees are paid up front.

For the Trailhawk Elite, I get $333/mo plus tax

Are you sure those selling prices will be valid for a lease? Remember there are different incentives for lease vs. purchase.

    Thanks!
Are you sure those selling prices will be valid for a lease? Remember there are different incentives for lease vs. purchase.
Those selling prices are printed on the lease offer they gave me at the dealership, it's not some internet price I'm quoting :)

Well, if the dealer worksheet gets one payment, you get a second, and I get a third, then something is off.

Have the dealer send you a screenshot of their worksheet, so we can figure this all out.

Those numbers are for purchase - WA doesn't tax the entire selling price, just the monthly payment.

As you can see, the Elite doc is for purchase, not a lease. Missing a lot of key info.

On the 2nd doc, the residual is wrong. The Trailhawk has a 56% residual for 36/10, not 54% (that's the Elite)

This doc doesn't look like it's generated from the actual deal on the computer, just filled in manually. So, the numbers aren't accurate.

Also, the money factor isn't disclosed.

Unless it's a different bank than Chrysler Capital.

Thank you, I will ask for the lease worksheet and clarifications regarding residual & MF. I don't know if it's just a coincidence or what not, but so far the Jeep dealerships have been the most sketchy out of all the dealerships I've visited. Always seems like they're trying to hide something. Chevys have been pretty bad too. So frustrating. Kinda makes me want to go with a Mercedes / Volvo just because of the different treatment and customer service attitude.

And, if they behave that way during the sale, imagine how you'll be treated when you bring it in for service.

Looking for lease info on 2019 TRL and TRL-E, 36/10 in zip 98101. Thanks!

Edit: Also adding two offers I got. What do you think?
    1. Trailhawk Elite MSRP $44,085 Selling Price $37,221
    $390/mo w/$3k down
    2. Trailhawk MSRP $38,745 Selling Price $31,671
    $308/mo w/$3k down

    .00006 MF
    56%/54% residual for TH/Elite
    $2750 incentive
Are you sure it's .00006 and not .0006?
Are these factors relevant for Ally? (if not do you have the MF for Ally?)
    Thanks!

Got the lease info for the Trailhawk Elite, msrp 44,585. Note it says amount due at signing 5250 but this includes manufacturer rebate of 2250, so it's effectively 3000 due.

I'm having hard time reproducing the 382 figure in my calculations. It's always 20-30 less. Any idea what might be wrong / marked up here?

If it were me, I'd skip the $3000 out of pocket, and only pay the first payment and registration costs at signing. That's just making the lease seem cheaper. The cost of the lease remains the same, except you run the risk of losing that up front cash if the car is stolen or totaled.
