I am trying to use the Edmunds lease calculator. The dealer quoted me a sales prince, which I assume I should enter in the sales price category. To calculate residual, I understand this is based on the vehicle MSRP. The dealer included the following in the MSRP category:

Base MSRP 30500
Factory-Installed Options 3000
Freight Delivery Fee 1495
-------------------------------

Total MSRP: 34995

Is the residual value (50%, in this case) based on the base msrp (30500) or the total msrp?

Limited 4X4 with Luxury pack, pano moon roof, and the better digital dash for 369/mo on a 36/12 with no money down but tags and first month. Got them to throw in the interior/exterior “insurance” because when you’re leasing, it’s not your car, it’s the dealer’s.

Great ride.

Looking at 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Why is it when I use the lease finance calculator on the Jeep website every dealer says they cannot match that price? Here is what I have gotten from the dealer. 39 month lease through Ally. MSRP $38,305, Selling price $34,650, Rebate $1750, Net selling price $32,900, Total saving with rebates $5405, Doc fee $495, Residual value $21,834. Total due a signing $1900, monthly payment $350. Phoenix area. Yay or Nay?

We don't have the Ally numbers.

If one dealer is willing to make that deal, why does it matter that others can't, or won't?

That's not an altogether bad payment, even with $1900 due up front.

I was wondering if that is a good deal. I have an appointment on Thursday Morning.

I spoke to a local dealership today about the same vehicle and he quoted me 393/mo with 1800 down with a residual of 58% and MF of 0.00093 and that seemed a bit high. Thank You for any information you can offer me in making my decision. I unfortunately don't have a net capitalized cost.
