What is the net cap cost the dealer is using for that quote?

And, we'd recommend you not use the trade equity as down payment; you'd lose that money if the car is stolen or totaled. Better to have the dealer give you a check for the equity, after the first payment, taxes and registration costs are paid for.

@Michaell It's not shown on the sheet but if I've done my calculation correctly the net cap cost is $27,241. We pay 7% sales tax here if that helps.

Also, thanks for the info about not using the trade equity, I hadn't thought of it that way. Appreciate the advice!

Be advised that in PA there is a 3% specific lease tax, so your total sales tax burden will be 10%

The prices posted on line may include incentives that aren't compatible with a lease, just so you are aware.

Thanks again for the numbers. There was an additional $1,000 rebate for the LX V6 convenience package.

The MSRP was $36,335. Paid $283 a month for 36/10 including sales tax. Only money out of pocket was the first payment. No trade.

I think the end of the month helped the deal a little or maybe my persistence. 👍

looks like dealer contribution is about 2400 off msrp. But then you got 399 doc fee profit and whatever other fees and their dealer fee, if you figure 500 to 1000 worth of those.

2400 - 750+399 = 1249 total discount from the dealer,

Didn't check but I'm assuming they're roughly 500 over invoice after all the games? 

Not a great deal in my opinion, but not a bad deal
