    Wanted to ask about thoughts on buying cash vs leasing? Is there any difference in the amount of potential discount?

    Our reason to buy is that we may want to sell it in 1-2 years and change, as opposed to being stuck in a 36-month commitment.

    2019 RDX, Aspec, zip 92212, if leased (36/15), The San Jose Dealer (Autonation Acura) list price was $43,495, after their taxes and fees, asking $48,120.

    Ideally, what final price could we expect, $5k discount (too high)? So final cashout would be $43,120? Also could we expect any Black Friday Specials?

    Thank you KYFDX, what would the MF and RV change to with a single lease payment? Also, we looked at the Edmunds pricing link, but it just comes up with the MSRP value. How would you suggest one evaluates the amount of incentive off MSRP or discount one could negotiate for?

    @kyfdx - thank you! You and Michaell are awesome. Some quick follow up questions to your response. By "base model", do you mean FWD as opposed to the SH-AWD? If yes, can you confirm that this means any FWD model = 60% residual and any SH-AWD = 58% residual?

    Finally, based on your experience/knowledge, do you foresee these numbers changing anytime soon? And if so, when would they typically change?

    Where can I see some recent Cap Costs negotiated for the RDX? Thank you!

    Base is without any package (A-Spec, Tech, Advance) for both FWD or AWD.

    Acura numbers are good through the end of the year.

    Had the below quote on a base 2019 AWD in Virginia.

    36mo / 15k
    MSRP = 40,295
    Sale = 40,795 (yes, $500 over - see below)
    Total down = $3079. 87 (include taxes, tags, doc, reg, and 1st month)
    MF = .00116
    RV = 59%
    Monthly payment - $514.87

    Offering $750 military and $1000 conquest

    * Currently in an SQ5 lease and owe $3375 (5 remaining monthly payments at $675). Acura isn't willing to purchase the SQ5 at the final residual of $37,500. But they would pay the remaining $3375 to Audi and I would turn in the car 90 days out from lease end to avoid early termination penalty. I'm of course still responsible for $595 disposition fee at that time.

    I know it's frowned upon and I hate factoring in the current lease as it fudges the numbers but don't see another way to structure it where I'm not paying two leases. I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around how to evaluate whether the lease itself is solid accounting for the buyout. I've never paid MSRP, let alone over MSRP :)
