I'm just a dollar or two off that quote.

You have a trade in with $2500 of equity? That's where the cash is coming from, it looks like.

And, the way the residual is calculated is that the 15K residual is 56%, but you want 10K, so add 3% to that number.

Looks like an OK deal given the OK lease program the RDX has.

Your upfront charges are $2889 (tax, first payment, dealer fee, DMV)
Since you are only putting up $2500, the extra $389 is added to the CAP cost (right column).

Your discount is $3073, which is good, but they are charging a $500 dealer fee, which takes a little of that back.
Acquisition fee is rolled into the CAP.

The payment calculation is correct.

Not a cheap vehicle to lease, but this is actually one of the better deals we've seen on an RDX, because they are giving you a decent discount from MSRP.

the guy told me if i close the deal tomorrow he might be able to adjust the numbers more favorably ..would that mean more discount of the MSRP? since all the other numbers are inline as per your review?

Lastly i think for the money this is car gives you the most features. We really liked the volvo xc60 r-design too but its significantly more expensive for the same features

Yep, the only way to improve the deal is with a bigger discount from sticker. Figure $15/mo for every $500 discount.

What is the MSRP?

How is the sales tax accounted for? In Texas, is the assessed against the entire selling price.

Sales tax is 6.8% on the entire selling price but can be reduced to 1.2% for a limited number of buyers each month (which is what I'm anticipating).

I get $527/mo as well, with those prices.

If you can get the tax credits, that would be a big savings on your payment.

Fees: 1,167 (I'm in CA so govt fee's are high)

.00109 MF 59%/58%/56% Residual based on mileage (same as whats quoted on the forum)

I'm hoping to bring them down another $500-$800

Am I in the ballpark for a Sale Price?

sale price = $41,103.45 (includes 5 payments because RDX does not qualify for pull ahead)
customer cash = $2,500
10k miles/36
residual amount = $23,6xx
sales tax on payment only = 8.25%
monthly payment = $585

they will pay for the mileage penalty. Seems steep. Might wait until March before I make a deal. Stink there's no incentives on this mode.

I'd just wait. Seems like you are shooting yourself in the foot to avoid $4000 in lease end charges. If you are 20K miles over, why lease for 36/10, the next time? Seems like more pain down the road.

I was told by my Acura dealer there is a pull ahead program. It's either 6mos or 4mos. One of those.
