After hours of discussion this is wat i was able to get for zip 92821

msrp - 38300
selling price 34500 ( incl rebate)
down - 2500
monthly- 380 incl tax
miles 12k/36.
residual-23500

acquisition fee 595 , reg fee - 500, doc fee 80, other tax - 240

is it worth consideration? I can roll in acquisition fee into monthly.

That's a good lease quote, relative to MSRP.

What trim level is this?

What is the full breakdown of the $2500 due at signing?

Its base rdx. $2500 includes registration, first month payment, acquisition fee, tax.

What tax?

CA taxes the monthly payment, and since there are no incentives, there isn't any tax to be paid.

In CA, we recommend you only pay the first payment and DMV costs up front, and roll everything else into the lease.

Sure, makes sense. I spoke to other dealer And they are ok with 375 incl tax with reg plus first month payment as drive off. I need to visit before i stand true.

New programs will appear for March, but we don't have any insight as to what they will look like.

The RDX has been quite popular, so I'll guess not a big change.

Very new to this forum and new to Acura. Have leased a few Honda CRV EXL and current lease is over 3/12/19. Went in cold to an Acura dealer and got a quote on a basic RDX AWD.....msrp $40,295.....buy price $39,288........36/12 lease; AHFC; Quoted me a sign and drive price with "loyalty" (have only owned/leased from Honda) of $451 month.
The dealer was not certain about the $350 disposition fee being waived but I called AHFC and they said it would be waived + they would also add the $1000 damage waiver to the Acura lease. Did not negotiate or visit any other dealer because we are nor sure if we want the CRV (not great leasing prices now) or the RDX.

Good price? Bad price? What do you suggest we do next? In no hurry....can wait until the end of February beginning of March. Also, not adverse to extending our current CRV lease one extra month and negotiate the beginning of April. Your advice is truly appreciated.

(As a basis of comparison the 36/12 Honda CRV EXL lease prices we are getting (without real negotiations....just a starting point because we were not ready to sign) is about the same as the RDX of around $450/mo with $0 down.

I can help.  We are looking at same CRV vs RDX

2019 CRV high MF .0240 or 5.76%

2018 CRV MF is “only” .00016 or .384% !!!!!

2018 is basically the same as 2019 and discounts of 12% - 15% off MSRP are doable without a lot of work.

RDX is new design discounts are about 4,000-4,500 off MSRP w/ 1,000 loyalty incentive.  Your area will vary.  MF is .00109 or 2.616% (not bad)

CRV is commuter and savings. 

RDX is fun sporty high quality but expensive. 

If you plug in the numbers your RDX deal above isn’t very good.  Based on your questions above, you need to google leasing and understand how monthly payment is calculated.  You then use an app, like Leasematic or post deal here to make sure dealers aren’t hiding money. 

You need to negotiate sale price, everything else is standard.  I have found dealers want to talk about monthly payment (on leases) more than sale price. If you fall for this, they will hide money.   

Example:  Dealer and I had same monthly payment, but dealer also wanted 3,000 for his payment.  I had fees due at signing around $1200.  So $1800 was being added to sale price or to their profit!

That monthly price is lower than what the sale price numbers would suggest.

I can help.  We are looking at same CRV vs RDX

The features on the RDX are up to you. For us the base FWD is fine. We didn't like the CRV but we're also used to nice cars.

Again if you look at sale price, that's no where near $4-$4.5K off. We're in CA and price here are usually higher. Go over to acurazine forum or look at the 2019 RDX lease deals on Edmunds and focus on the Sale Price to see what people are getting.

**AWD is for starting, does not help with steering or stopping. Although, the SH-AWD will handle better if you drive aggressive "sporty." If not, Non-AWD is find.

Shopping for an RDX for the wife and dealer in NC is giving us the following MF/Ris.

Granted she is not top tier, but at a score of 722  would there be that much of a difference? Can this be negotiated?

This is our first time leasing.

FICO 710+ gets you top tier
660-709 = .00158 MF

You can ask why she isn't top tier, but dealers generally don't play around with credit scores/rates.

Current ‘17 RDX AWD base has 5 remaining payments (soon to be 4).  Got the early turn in letter in mail and reached out for ‘19 RDX AWD Tech quote.  He said, waive final 5 payments, $1000 loyalty, zero down $699/month for 10K/36 and $714 12K/36 in State of CT (taxes payments).  I’m guessing MSRP $43,895 and residual roughly 59% with MF 0.00109 (excellent credit).

I know I need breakdown of fees, cap cost, but in general is this even remotely in the right?  I’m assuming “waive payments” is just rolling old into new so better to just pay off old lease or drive it another 5 months so it’s not negative roll up?  I like getting quotes at 0 down because its easy to always put money down but helpful to compare apples to apples.

Thoughts?  Advice?

It's possible they have an actual pull-ahead program, where Acura covers the payments.

But, if not, why would you want out early, to start paying $700/mo. Your current lease has to be a lot lower than that, right?
