We don't know the exact rate, but thought it was in the range of .00220 to .00250

.00290 could be the number, or it could represent a markup from the base MF.

The payment math is correct, for a .00390 MF.

However, if the MF is reduced to .00250, the payment drops to $2233/mo

I'd tell them that I'd be more interested in signing the deal if they used the base 'standard MF', and not one marked up.

Likely not - dealer is marking it up for extra profit.

Folks looking at the E63S aren't all that price sensitive, most dealers figure.

No information on the DE1 program - what is it?

DE1 is a discount (typically 12.5% off msrp) given to family of Mercedes employees.

Any dealer incentive would be included in the "suggested" dealer discount from Mercedes on DE1 deals. So, it should be reflected in your price, but even on DE1, there is no set discount, just an extra incentive from Mercedes. Dealers could still choose to take advantage of you, but you wouldn't think they would treat an employee that way.

I dont know the selling price, but to get to these numbers it needs to be north of 13% off
I asked for a first month's payment only, how does it matter?
