Selling price is not the same as Adjusted CAP cost.
And, you need the actual money factor used.

The reason these numbers don't match their quoted payment is because something they told you is inaccurate. It's either the adjusted CAP cost or the money factor. It's just math.

The number used for the residual calculation is the bottom line number of the window sticker - base MSRP + options + destination

Hi guys, can you let me know if this is a good lease deal? 2019 e450 sedan awd, msrp 73235 with sale price of 69187 (4048 off msrp), 1500 discount from fleet program. .00199 MF and 58% RV, I'm putting down 9k which includes paying for the acquisition fee. dealership is asking for 882.03/mo for 12k/36mo, or 825.25 for 42mos. Ideally I would like to be at 825.00/mo for 36mo. I'm a little bummed that the MF is so high compared with the coupe, but we really need the 4-door now that my in-laws are moving in. yay.

Assuming $3000 of your $9K goes to fees and first payment, along with CAP reduction tax, those numbers look about right.

We don't follow pricing, though. If your $4048 already includes the $1500 fleet, that isn't a very big discount.

It would be easier to check the numbers, if we had the adjusted CAP cost, sales tax rate, etc.

sorry, the sales tax rate is 8.25. they don't specifically call out the cap cost, they call it the established value by subtracting what remains from the 9k after taking out upfront taxes, title, and first month's payment, which results in what they claim to be 7141.07 down, but it doesn't add up to me. here's a better idea:

Acquisistion Fee: 1095
Decapitalization: 7141.07 (I assume this is part of the down payment)
Established value: 63141.44
RV: 42476.30 (equates to 58% of MSRP)
