Ok, I was proposed the following gm financial lease deal. The taxes looked high to me, and higher than every lease calculator I have looked at, but thought I would ask here. I guess i thought the sales tax rate would be on the leased portion, and not the full price of the truck.

Not certain how AR assesses sales tax, but I'm pretty sure it isn't on the whole selling price. They might have shown you a purchase sheet, and not the numbers relevant for a lease.

Ask them for the lease worksheet.

Leaving the tax out of the equation, the numbers show give me a payment of $797/mo.
