Hello. I was quoted a deal today on a 2019 Acura MDX base. 36/10. Res 58% MF .0020. They will forgive the last 3 payments on my TLX (332/month). This will allow me to roll over 6K miles to new lease which I need. MSRP $47,295. Cap cost $38,636.61. Sales tax $1,188.02. Dealer fees $368.50. Current plates to be transferred to new vehicle. $774 due at signing. $497/ month inc tax. Is this a good deal? Thanks

License, Title, Registration Fee: $185
Documentation Fee: $160
Aquisition Fee: $595
Inspection / L&M (not sure what stands for): $451.60
Lease Rebate: $1000
Sales Tax (Texas, applied on sale price): (6.25% of Net cap - Rebate) = 2371.56.
Dealership agreed to cover for the sales tax.
MF (based on my calculation): 0.00200

Monthly payment: 461.17
Down payment: 0

I feel this was a pretty good deal. The only down side was the high APR.

Ask the dealer what's in the $1300 difference to the selling price.

They did not tell me the selling price but I would guess the total cost of this car if I decide to purchase after 36 months is
36 months x $375 = $13500
Residual $26500 + tax, fees etc = $28,600
total = 13500 + 28600 = $42,156

That doesn't account for finance charges in the lease.
