Here is the offer i got:

Discount: $13592 (incentive included)
Sell price: $41563
Residual: $30,171 (dealer said he adjusted the RV to 54.7%, as it's a loaner?)
MF: 0.00077
DMV: $23
Documentation: $220
Monthly payment: $414, with Out of pocket $1000

However, my own calculation gives me a monthly payment of ~$390. Did i miss something? or there are some hidden charge that he didn't show me?

thanks for the reply, i think the acquisition fee is what i missed -- after adding $995 i got the same number they gave me.

Still I got two questions that i'd like to confirm with you:

1. The allowance in my ZIP area should be $4000 + $750, but dealer said he could only apply $4000 because of the car being a loaner, is that true?

2. As I mentioned in my original post, dealer adjusted the RV to 54.7% from 56%, because of, again, the car being a loaner -- is this something that Volvo usually does? as based on my former experience with BMW and Mercedes, the RV doesn't change on loaner cars.

We don't have any information on incentive eligibility for loaner vehicles. I suppose you could call a second dealer and see if you get a consistent answer

Yes, a downward adjustment in the residual is typical for loaners or demos; we don't know the formula Volvo uses (most makes use a per mile charge, which result in the decimal value)
