On the money factors, is dealers utilizing the guidance MF rates to be expected? In discussion with local dealer on a T6 RDES they are acknowledging guidance of .00081 provided in this forum, but are offering a best rate of .00151 and stating that Volvo allows dealers as much as a .00125 increase off published MF rate.

Is it usually a struggle to get dealer to use these guidance rates, or is the norm for this brand to hold a markup? New to Volvo brand leasing, and at other brands I've dealt MF rates have always been in accordance with guidance figures.

Yes, you have to negotiate hard. Just refuse to pay a MF markup, and tell them you'll move on if they can't offer that.

Many non-luxury brands don't allow markups (though some are starting to).

Honestly, that's not a great deal on a loaner car. You should be getting AT LEAST 15% off on a loaner, if not closer to 20%. Then you have the loaner rebate of $3,000. On a base FWD T5 MOM, you should be getting more than $10,000 off, not only $7,000.

Also, you can't stack Costco and loaners. The loaner rebate is better on a MOM anyway.

You can't use Costco with loaners, and you have to be a member prior to April 30 to use the Costco program.

It is Volvo's way of passing along the tax credit, that you don't get when leasing.
