There is an iOS app called Odometer that I use. You need to know how many miles you actually drive in order to choose the right term. Otherwise, you could end up paying a lot of overages. You also need to make sure you don't drive too many miles in general, because once you start needing to replace tires/manufacturer warranties expire, you've lost most of the benefits of leasing.

Regarding the former, I like the Edmunds TMV thing. However, I've found it to be a little buggy at times. Also, you need to enter the options and colors exactly as they are on the window sticker/build sheet for what you are looking at. Otherwise, the data provided isn't helpful or accurate. I've found that the price you can secure on a Q8 is extremely dependent on your area and the dealership you work with. I paid a touch above invoice in May in Chicago, and by most accounts that was a major coup. I know that I was not able to get any of the 4 other dealers to come close to what I ended up getting. It took several trips to the dealer to get it done, including walking away from the first "deal."
