This is what I have thus far- mind you I’m a complete lease newbie but I’m having trouble getting to 1175/month
MSRP is 78940
Adjust cap cost 72036
Money factor .00354
Residual was 58%
Selling price is MSRP
I think I need help from someone smarter than I! Part of the issue is like you mentioned before that Q8 is new and popular and that these guys know I like that Daytona grey/ year one package. It is not the most readily available so it seems
I get $1146/mo plus tax with those prices and numbers.
If the selling price is MSRP, why is the adjusted cap cost $6800 lower?
Locking yourself into a particular, limited edition, unit weakens your negotiating position greatly.

That is the number I got as well. And I also had a similar question about the difference between MSRP and adjusted cap. This is my first time buying/leasing a luxury car but my sales rep seems to be more interested in getting me to sign something that explaining the math.
I do like that particular model a lot. Now the question is do I accept that I was able to get 200 off per month considering it’s a popular model or do I keep looking/negotiating for a model that may have more wiggle room.

Michael you very very much for your help!!
MSRP is MSRP.
Adjusted CAP is the selling price, plus any additional items not paid upfront, minus any down payment (aka CAP reduction). It's similar to the "amount financed" on a loan.
I recently put down, in their words, a "partisal payment" for a Q8 Prestige. They have now been unable to find my first choice and are locating a Premium Plus for me which was my fourth choice in prioritizing what I wanted. They are also now playing games with the money factor on the lease. I do think I can solve this but wanted to know my options. With Audi, is a partial payment binding?

Did you sign anything? Is there any language about this being refundable?
If you haven't taken delivery, then you should be able to unwind the deal and start over.

I did not sign anything for the car they have now located. I took them at their word and I’m regretting it a little now.

So as I understand from reading the posts above: Q8 Premium (only) has an AFS incentive for $2000 + $3000 for competitor acquisition? What would be the MF and RV numbers for 36/7.5, 36/10? Zip code 97266. Thank You Very Much!

Is that MF right? .00022 comes out to be 0.528% interest rate. That's insane!!
Maybe it's dealer / region centric. There is an advt. special for the Q8 lease on the dealers website that has the following fineprint:
"*Monthly Lease Payment based on MSRP of $70,295 and destination charges, excluding title, tax, and dealer fees. $7,029, cap cost reduction, acquisition fee of $895, license fees, and doc. fees due at signing. Additional Rebate of $2,000 from Audi Financial Service. Monthly payments total $749. Your payment will vary based on dealer contribution. Lessee responsible for insurance, maintenance, and repairs. At lease end, lessee responsible for disposition fee of $495, $0.25/mile for miles driven in excess of 7,500 miles and excessive wear and tear. Purchase option at lease end for $41,474, excludes taxes, title, and other government fees. On approved credit by Audi Financial Services."

Can you also provide numbers for Premium same as above.
Also, Audi is giving 3k towards lease or purchase if coming from BMW and other.
