Im from that tn area, bought our current vehicle there when we were living in OK 2 years ago (home over Christmas). 37620 and 24201 different states but city split in half by state line, where almost all of the dealerships are on the TN side of town. Have spoken to multiple dealers in TN and said I would need info on how things work since I recently moved to nc, and they didn't mention any issues, only that it would require the taxes of my resident state. Also, a sc dealership (rock hill Toyota) in the area advertises that they charge $300-400 less in some fee, compared to nc dealers just miles away. Spoke to them today. I, of course, do not know, just draw assumptions based off of these conversations with them. Just trying to find the best deal.

Do you recommend any questions for me to ask them in order to clarify if there would be an issue?

All of the SouthEast region (FL, AL, GA, NC, SC) share the same numbers.

The outlier dealer is likely giving you the 15K residual, which is 2% lower than 12K
