    Hi Michaell,

Can you please provide MSRP, MF and residual for a 2019 Jaguar E-Pace SE for zipcode 20852? Terms are 36/12 and/or 33/10.

Also, besides Jaguar financing, are there any other banks that offer leasing options for Jaguar?

    Thanks!

    Thank you! much appreciated.

Numbers look good here, but it seems impossible to lock the same numbers when you are at the dealer. I am wondering if a pre-application would help.

You mean lock the rates for an ordered vehicle? I don't think JLR Financial will do that.

Here's the deal I was just quoted for a E pace in Miami.

    7500 miles/ 39 months

    Thoughts? Seems very high.

    Hi Michaell,

Can you please quote Residual Value and MF for following? ZipCode 33544

    Vehicle Details;
    2018 Jaguar E-PACE S P250
    MSRP = $41500
    Downpayment = $2711
    Net Cap Cost = $38789

Miles Per Year 9230 Miles/Per Year (Total miles for lease /term = 30,000)

    Lease Term: 39 Months

    Thanks,

Without the money factor bump, the monthly would be $15/mo. lower
The calculations are correct, as is.

Initial fees plus first payment only add up to $1300 approx. Why is there $1838 due at signing?

Seems like a decent discount, with an additional $1000 rebate.
It's just not a very good lease program.

They knocked off $1850. Of course, the MF is still marked up (a little more than before)

$50/mo. less is a big drop, though.

Still looks like the amount due at signing has some padding in it. In fact, it went up slightly from your last quote, even though the payment is $50/mo. lower.

Also, your disposition fee and purchase option fee changed. Which is weird, since those are usually fixed by the bank.

Could I get the money factor and residual for a 2019 E-Pace SE in 33146? I currently have a quote but unfortunately I cannot provide hard numbers, only what they have told me. I'd like to determine if it's a good deal. 54% residual and .00126, 2995 due at signing, 604 after tax monthly payment. 49,236 MSRP. The car is also one of their loaners, and has 1k miles on it.

    I can't find a residual of 54% for any 2019 E-Pace trim.
Maybe, they are using Ally or USBank?

I don't track pricing, but your deal seems about average for this model, if new.
Being a service loaner I'd want a better deal.

Did they provide a selling price or adjusted CAP cost with that quote?

Ask the dealer to send you a screen shot of the deal sheet; that should clear up any confusion.

Also, ask them for a complete breakdown of the $2995 due at signing.

Florida taxes the monthly payment, so you can ignore the tax amount (probably the total taxes paid for the entire lease).

I'd ask them to restructure the lease to only pay the first payment and registration costs up front; you'll have a larger payment, but you won't risk losing the extra cash if the car is stolen or totaled.

    Up front cash:
    $895 acquisition fee
    $1058.75 CAP reduction
$412 annual fees (is this the registration?)
$753.50 initial fees (probably a big dealer fee in this number)

    .00091 and 52% for 39/10 on E-Pace SE

MF is marked up by the dealer for extra profit.

What is the term and mileage allowance?
    10k Miles/39 months
    .00091 MF and 52% residual
    $1000 bonus credit

    I can't find a residual of 54% for any 2019 E-Pace trim.
Maybe, they are using Ally or USBank?

I don't track pricing, but your deal seems about average for this model, if new.
Being a service loaner I'd want a better deal.

Did they provide a selling price or adjusted CAP cost with that quote?
They didn't provide it, but I snuck a peek at the window. Unfortunately I don't have an exact number, but if I had to guess I'd say it was around 44 or 43 thousand.
Ask the dealer to send you a screen shot of the deal sheet; that should clear up any confusion.

Also, ask them for a complete breakdown of the $2995 due at signing.
I was able to get a picture of the deal sheet. How does it look? They went down to 550 a month.

Can you explain what you mean? This is my first time leasing so I'm unfamiliar with some of these terms. I should ask them to reduce the cap cost by a further 1058, or I should pay that up front? Also, are you saying that their MF is marked up by them, and I should tell them that? I believe they're trying to get me into the Jaguar Student program (where they accept recent or potential graduates), would that be a reason why the MF is marked up? Finally, as is, would the deal be okay? Let's assume I'm okay with putting 3000 down in order to have a smaller monthly payment. Thanks for your help!

Making a down payment on a lease does not change the total cost of the lease, it just front loads the amount you are paying. Would you pre-pay 2 months rent on a 12 month lease of an apartment, so the payment is lower? Same thing.

The whole idea of a lease is to pay-as-you-go. If the payment is too high with the correct amount up front, then you should scale back your budget.

As far as the MF mark up, that is just pure profit for the dealer. Tell them you know they are marking it up, and that you won't sign a deal unless you get the base rate. If they refuse, find another dealer.

Thank you, March numbers look great. Seems to be a fair amount of inventory out there still. A lot of R-Dynamics. Could I bother you for 36/39 @ 7.5 for R-Dynamic S, SE, HSE as well?
