So odd I can’t find my previous post but I went to the dealer today and I got them to honor the 2019 E Pace SE with panoramic moon roof and parking package with heated seats for $399 a month for 36 months with 7,500 miles a year.

I don’t drive much my current leased car is being turned in with 12,000 miles after 3 years

I just got confirmation I qualified for the tier one lease for $399 a month $0 down and total drive offs are $2,089 and I can go in tomorrow and sign the paperwork (I had to leave so they ran the credit check and got back to me) In SoCal they currently have a $4,000 rebate on the 2019 EPace and/or $1,000 winter cash but all they told me is all incentives have been added and the car is at the rock bottom price.

So here’s the rub... I’ve never leased without first getting the purchase price, MF, and residual value and while I asked for those numbers I won’t see them until I go in to sign the paperwork.

Can you help give me any guidance on if I’m missing something as it’s a killer deal

If my numbers are correct the purchase price of the car should be about $41,200 with an MF of .00002 (zip code for purchase is 90212) to come out to $399 a month

What should I be asking or looking for tomorrow as I’ve never done a lease backwards this way before ...

Does jaguar include GAP insurance as my insurance only allows me to get if I finance the car through them.

If I pay Jaguar for GAP insurance how much should I be paying (since they normally mark it up as I know Audi did)

Is there anything else they “try to sell” with the lease that I should get. I wasted money on extra wear and tear for my Audi’s and never used it as they were returned looking new.

I don't think the $4000 cash is valid with this lease program. That is a purchase incentive.

Is the proposed lease $399/mo+tax? Or, just $399/mo.?

GAP insurance is included on JLR Financial leases.

They will try to sell you extras in the F&I office. That is a given.

The payment calculation is correct.
Not sure what you are doing with the residual. 54% of MSRP is $26869. Not sure what your $22536 number signifies. The residual percentage is always applied to the MSRP amount.

Your customer cash is DMV/doc, 1st payment, acquisition fee, and upfront tax on the rebate/acquisition fee. That looks about right.

The money factor markup adds about $15/mo. to the total payment.

They have it listed as $26869, do they get something out of listing it that high? He said the lease is through Chase and he never heard of GAP coverage so I won’t find out until I go this morning to pick up the car if it’s included. If not I’ll tell them it should be. Fingers crossed.

Thank you so much for the info. They wouldn’t budge on the MF but for $399 a month and no money down except drive offs I signed the lease. The one item I gave in and bought was the ding/dent repair with tire coverage it also includes an extra $1,000 for wear and tear. I mostly got this my neighbor put three door dings in my Audi). I got them down from $1600 to $800 for the coverage, they claim it cost $700 so the lowest they could go was $800. No idea if that’s true so if anyone has numbers on that let me know.

Now I just need to figure out how to use everything in the car 😱
