    Need some info and opinions please. I’m considering a 2019 Atlas AWD SE w/Tech and R-Line. A dealer in Lakeland, FL shows an MSRP of $44,750 and a sales price of $36,616. Not sure yet of where the discounts come from and what shell games may be played when I start asking questions. It does say $3634 dealer disc and $4500 VW incentives. Should I expect to ask for the lease cash to be taken from the sales price if I lease? Strongly considering a buy with the warranty, but could also lease to get the cash and buy it out when it’s up. So, any guidance would be appreciated, and need the incentives, MF and RV on a 36/12 to run those numbers. Sorry for the long-winded question, just don’t want to leave any money on the table.

    VW lease cash is a VW-to-dealer incentive.
    Lease and purchase incentives are likely to be similar, so I wouldn't expect a lower price.
    The price is just an advertisement, and it's unlikely it will hold up for a lease deal. Ask for a lease quote and go from there.

    VW lease cash is a VW-to-dealer incentive.
    Lease and purchase incentives are likely to be similar, so I wouldn't expect a lower price.

    Thanks for the info. Invoice for this vehicle is $42,616. If I used that and backed the cap cost down by the $4775, it equals $37,841. Seems I’d do better overall with a purchase now if I intend to keep it. I’ll report back after I talk to the dealer.
