The dealers I've been talking to are shady, the math keeps changing, one minute they're telling me they are lowering the selling price, the next minute they are telling me about incentives, it's all a shell game and I don't know what is or isn't a fair deal.

In simplest terms, I'm trying to find out what the average person walking into a Honda dealership putting $2,500 cash towards a 2019 Civic Sedan Touring would expect to pay per month over 36 months at 12K miles a year. I won't be buying the car at the end of the lease so selling price and residuals don't matter to me. I care only about how much I put out of pocket at signing ($2,500 in this case) and how much I need to pay per month ($295 is what I was offered not sure if its a good deal or not). Can you help?

I'm sorry, but the details are important.

I can't track pricing for 200 make/model combinations, but I can calculate a lease payment, and if we have all of the numbers, I can point out problems or issues.

You don't want to know the details, but without them, you only have the dealer's word for it, and that doesn't seem to be working out so well. Research and knowledge are how you work a better deal. It would be great if it was simple, but it's not.
