When you lease, you don't get the tax credit - the bank does.

The $4100 lease cash and the higher than normal residual are the other ways the consumer benefits.

Thanks. I understand the lease credit goes to the bank and is usually passed through. When dealing with the dealerships they are trying to tell me there are no lease cash incentives on the limited currently. Are they just trying to pocket it?

    That is likely the case.

Find a dealership willing to be more transparent.

I am confused as why one of the dealer locally gave me a quote for $411/month if I put down $2k.
This is for 2019 Ioniq Hybrid Plug-in LIMITED, he plugged the following numbers:
    MSRP: $30475
    Rebate/Cash: $4543
    Residual: 50%
    MF: 0.00203
    Doc Fees: $80
    Tax: $353.70
    My zipcode is 94513.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    What is the selling price?
    Adjusted CAP cost?

I'm not surprised at the payment, if you aren't getting a discount, besides the lease cash

Yes, I am not getting much discount, this rebate/cash is a federal allowance of $4543, so total net purchase price was $25,932. Do you see any good deals around the bay area as I am actively looking for plug-in hybrid.?

Do you think $400/- (incl. tax) per month is a good deal for ionic plugin Limited? 12k/36 months $1000 down , Somehow I was able to get some additional dealer discount

That's $1300 less than your last quote, so that's good.

I don't know what that average selling price is for this model.
In general, that's not a great lease payment for a $30K MSRP vehicle.
Do you get any additional rebate from CA, after the sale?
