    Hi friends,
    Would you please see the quote I recd . When I do the calculation he monthly is lower .I suspect the Dealer is doing some mischief with the MSD conversion of the MF SINCE HE QUOTED .00148 AND 56% but the monthly came out much higher than what I Calculated .
    Please would you review the attached and advice where to change things . Also they kept asking me to not put down MSDs. What’s the issue ...

    I get monthly including tax as 604 with 1157 drive off . Adding MSD shows the MF changing to .00098 from .00148

    9 MSDs X .00005 ea = .00045 reduction. The first deposit isn't an MSD, just a security deposit. You only get a money factor reduction for 9 of them.

    .00103 MF is correct.

    Plus, since the MSDs are $6500, and you are putting up $6750, your "drive-off" is effectively just $250, not $1157.

    No, I just wanted to make sure the dealer hadn't marked up the MF, before applying the MSDs.

    CA doesn't charge taxes up front, except on non-government fees and incentives - I'd question the validity of that amount with the dealer.

    Using the MSRP and selling price, as given, along with the .00103 MF, I get $542/mo with tax.

    $518/mo, with tax, looks pretty good by comparison.

    2019 A5 Sportback w/ Premium Plus. MSRP $53,550. 36/10k, w/ $0 down in 85262. Dealer quoted $723.18 (includes tax) and $1,260.00 total due at delivery. When I asked what the $1,260 includes the dealer threw a lot of numbers at me. Hoping someone can tell me if everything adds up. Thanks in advance.

    Dealer revised the quote using the base MF .00148. Monthly payment is now $678.09 (includes sales tax) and 1,260.00 total due at delivery. Anything else I should be questioning?

    I'll note that the MSRP is $52,850, not the $53,550 you listed above. (it's on the paperwork)

    Your discount is 10% of MSRP ($5285), but that is offset somewhat by the $1000 Audi to dealer incentive and the $510 doc fee. But, might be hard to beat that discount on a Sportback.

    Everything else is correct and typical. If there is any place to get a lower payment, it is with a bigger discount.
