I am totally new to leasing and wanted to jump in with a 2019 Audi A4. The terms I got for a 2019 A4 Titanium FWD 36/10 were this:
MSRP: 40,555
Discounts and Rebates: $3,500
Adjusted Price: $37,055
Taxes and Fees: 1,151.56
Total Price: 38,206,56
RV: $19,061
MF: ?
Cash Down: $3,000
Total Monthly Payment (including taxes): $521

I know the cash down is bad, but again, I am new to leasing and can bring it down. I also asked for the MF, I don't know yet. But is this in the ballpark? Am I getting fleeced?

I'll guess you have loyalty, and there is actually no discount at all.

Can you try one of the other Audi dealers in HI?

Other than zero discount, the deal is okay.
With just a $2000 discount (less than 5%), you could have the same payment, but with just $1000 upfront.
That wouldn't be a great deal, but reasonable. The offer is terrible.

I figured it was bad. A few things.... There is only one Audi dealership in Honolulu , not sure if that kills my leverage. They added a $750 discount on top of the rebate, so maybe the loyalty discount. But yes, it appears zero discount. So, I want the total payment to be under $500 for 36/10 and least amount of money up front. What do you recommend I go back and ask for to get that? Meaning, what are the best negotiating levers to pull when leasing?

I'd ask for $500/mo., with just $1000 due at signing.

And, maybe settle for anything under $525/mo, with just $1000 Due.

Not asking for anything amazing, there.. and, if you were anywhere else, I would suggest lower.

You had a typo on CAP reduction from the last post. That's why it didn't make any sense.
First payment + upfront charges + CAP reduction = $4250 rebates + $4000 cash.

Things we don't know:
1) breakdown of the upfront charges
2) Adjusted CAP cost
3) Money factor used

I can guess on a lot of those items, but when I do, I get a payment that is lower than what they've quoted. Also, you need an updated quote with the AudiCare added, because that changes the equation (increases the residual, and adds the cost for the plan).

My first impression is that they've marked up the money factor.

In general, I wouldn't recommend starting a lease with $4000 out of your pocket. The cap reduction is what's left from the $4000 after the first payment and fees are taken care of (the "upfront charge")

$4000 upfront doesn't make it a bad deal, we just wouldn't structure it, that way.

Do you have the adjusted CAP cost?
Is your selling price after the rebate has been deducted? Or, before?

Items we don't see:
$895 acquisition fee
$999 Audi Care
DMV fees

The upfront charge is likely: first payment, doc fee, DMV fees, upfront tax on the rebate
CAP reduction is what is left of the working cash, after the upfront charges are paid.

You had a typo on CAP reduction from the last post. That's why it didn't make any sense.
First payment + upfront charges + CAP reduction = $4250 rebates + $4000 cash.

Things we don't know:
1) breakdown of the upfront charges
2) Adjusted CAP cost
3) Money factor used

I can guess on a lot of those items, but when I do, I get a payment that is lower than what they've quoted. Also, you need an updated quote with the AudiCare added, because that changes the equation (increases the residual, and adds the cost for the plan).

My first impression is that they've marked up the money factor.
